Just found your channel last night Josh, so this is quite a time to be getting to know you, but I wanted to say "Hear, hear" to everything you said. You're processing and releasing in such a healthy way. I resonate with your spiritual path and feel grateful to be a witness to it. Wishes for a continued sense of peace and wholeness for you today. ❤️

So sorry Josh you are going through this. I have followed you and your brother before you left on your own and have been following you here on this new channel. You have my love and support and I will continue to watch as you deal with this and continue to grow! You are a beautiful person and I believe life has some really GOOD things for you in store. Hang in there continue with your journey, surely not an easy thing to deal with at all!

Made me cry. Thank you for sharing. I feel you right now as if I took a dive into your soul and it is weirdly wonderful, your feelings are honest and you are so brave for being who you truly are. So rare. Thank you brother. I hope you feel how much we appreciate your beautiful, honest soul. Can I order your book from Bosnia?

Hi Josh, I am glad I visited your page and watched this video. Although I am in no beak-up situation, listening to you felt like you were explaining what I am going through right now. One thing that helped me was when I started to value quietness. It made me think more, see and feel more. I wish you good luck and may your heart heal with butterflies again. Trust the process and enjoy the journey.

Man, I feel that ayahuasca trip really messed you up. It's like things have been spiralling downwards for you since then. You're having an existential crisis for sure. My advice to you is to find something that grounds you. Get into a healthy routine, surround yourself with positive people and get some support.

I agree. The dude is drug addled. I have seen it many times. He thinks he is sharing some wisdom, but he is simply a lost soul. And the people around him probably care about him - but he is so far gone - it becomes a relief when he is not around.

Great video ! I've never heard you or anyone speak with this kind of perspective. Mostly everything youre talking about i organically realized around last year. But in reality speaking about the ultimate truths of life led me to realize people dont wanna hear or think about that.. This situation was so reoccurring, I slowly began to put it in the back of my head. It just feel nice to hear it from someone else. I'm happy you have your own channel buddy. Cheers!

Hi. 😊 I stumbled on to your channel searching for singing bowls and got interested in your channel. There was something about you that resonated with me. I understand exactly where you're coming from. We see this in people around us as well as in ourselves, especially on every social media platform, where people will aspire to a societal norm or expectation (like getting married or losing weight or plastic surgery or finding that dream guy) as if doing so crystallizes it forever. When, in reality, those ideals change for better or for worse. The important thing is to grow and evolve from those changes.

The key with the mindfulness meditation stuff is in Not judging the experience, ONLY looking at it objectively. I suffer from a very severe depression; being aware is nice, but in my experience, that makes it hurt more (but also heals it faster), but whenever I finally stopped judging the pain it immediately transformed and stopped hurting so bad ( and incidentally, healed much faster).
@JoshuaBates014 жыл бұрын
thanks for your comment. What do you mean by stop judging the pain? Thanks
@MusicIan4234 жыл бұрын
@@JoshuaBates01 I consciously choose not to identify it as "pain" but as "a sensation that happens to appear negative from my perspective", almost like it is a neutral sensation that I am mistaking for pain. It doesn't completely rid the pain, but it causes me to not identify with the pain, and soon, it kinda turns into something silly and I feel like smiling it off. It makes me realize that the weight I put on the emotional pain is heavier than the pain itself. I then find it easy to let go of. For a while. Of course, sticking with it is important, after a few weeks/months of not meditating I start pushing down the pain again, which lets it fester and grow and the problem starts again. It's an ongoing process, really.

I've always liked you and you really made me smile so many times. I mean no offense by this but have you got a therapist? They might be able to help you. I admire you for putting your life out there and sharing the pain and your experiences with the world but I don' know if it's the right path for you, or anyone really. It's really harsh out here and if people sense your insecurity they will run away with it. You seem like a kind and sensitive person and I would hate to see your tendency to please others become your undoing. You don't need to make others happy. Just make yourself happy and others will be happy for you.
