Thanks, i dont know why said cornerback, i was thinking Deion sanders best corner and out fielder too. Are disc throwers power endurance athletes too like baseball players? Or speed strength

I got back into explosive training because of this Channel. At least once a week with my legs, and once a week for my torso
@GarageStrength
@GarageStrength Жыл бұрын
That's awesome! How have you been feeling with it?
@drip369
@drip369 Жыл бұрын
@@GarageStrength well when I train my torso it's typically done with conditioning more than just strange work and I think I recover better because of how you can exhaust the muscle recruitment fibers with less overall work and volume needed for stimulation. I think it's a brilliant idea the way you structure your weekly programs

By far best channel on youtube. I've started using some of your concepts in my workouts with really amazing results. Always learn something new. The reason why I workout to begin with is because I work as a carpenter on those concrete and steel high rises. I need the extra strength to avoid injury since I'm 46 years young now. I have definitely noticed a huge difference training explosively.

Do you recommend behind the neck jerks or front rack jerks for the general athlete? I.e. does one have better carry-over to sports that are unrelated to oly lifting?

Firstly, god bless Sam, f#ck cancer. Gym seems like a great place to train. Second, I had an open question in regards to programming. In the case of split jerks it makes sense to me, in terms of overloading the triceps at lockout without fatigue being a huge factor, while priming the CNS to be explosive. But say for movements like BB DLs and any type of BB clean, would those even go together? And if so, which would you perform first?

My guess is it replicates the feeling of a discus more than a regular bar - train the grip and stability in the hands a bit more while exerting force? That or it's just a variation thrown in to avoid adaptation? Just a guess
