Been watching this channel for a couple years now, learnt so much from it!! I play volleyball myself and i managed to create myself a pretty decent workout program. Was wondering if you (Chris) could throw us Vball players a video or some info on what you think is best for them?

Volleyball is another power and explosive sport (striking, moving quick to get to the ball). Exercises like this that build power would be good.

Hey Chris amazing content as always! I don’t know if you’ve already made a video but if not could do one on increasing stride length? I feel like my power and quickness is up and my stride frequency is quicker I’m cycling better but I still feel like my length is not as long as it should be. Thanks love the channel!

This is the type of training that we should involve more for Rugby league ! But we mainly focus on endurance but too mix this as a part of my training , it sure does help.. I play in the forwards as a prop & workouts like these are so useful & powerful

Why did some drop the trap bar and then pull up and some do the eccentric movement?

Callum Johnson some people did eccentric because they are working the triphasic portion, but the eccentric is the stretching of the muscle which is susceptible to damage. The two people who just dropped prob had combines coming up so chris didn’t want any muscle damage.

These exercises werent actually very football specific so you can easily do them for any sport which requires explosive leg power.

Explosion is explosion is explosion if you are explosive and Powerful you can play any sport. Any sport that involves lateral movement and vertical jumping ability like basketball and football hey even baseball these exercises will help you
