what if i dont know how to write good ad scripts and campaigns but i can do everything else? Do i go trail and error with other peoples money until i learn the skill or do I outsource that to someone else?

you can learn direct response copywriting and use the principles to write good ad scripts, for the campaigns you need to learn how to build a funnel first, basically it's a "journey" your prospects take to become your clients; he has a video on it too
