Nope. Out of sight. Out of mind. The world we live in is accustomed to microwave fixes. Maybe 10-20 years ago this would work but not hardly in this era. It’s too easy to access another relationship because people are so desperate for connection but don’t wish to work hard for it. I know. Sounds crazy but….ignoring someone rarely does anything but help them move on quicker and hopefully help you as well.

It's been a month since we broke up. I kind of told him i wanted to make things work but he was adamant. I went into NC immediately and ran into him after 4 days. He was waiting to talk. I had not processed my feelings well by then so i didn't know how to react. We had dinner together and talked for a long time. I asked him to reconsider, he said no in various ways. I decided not to push because it was hurting my self respect. We talked about general stuff. I told him to work on himself if he wants a relationship in future (with other people). While he was leaving i asked him again and he said he was sure about his decision. Over the days i called him because i couldn't control myself. He instead told me ways to move on and that i should focus on myself and not him blah blah. I texted him few for work and he always responded formally. Asked him to meet me one more time because i wanted to try one last time. I tried convincing and he was irritated. We had an ugly argument (wherein he shouted at me the whole time and i apologised for accusing him of cheating. He said he wasn't in touch with his ex but they kept liking each other's post on a group in WhatsApp both were part of and i wasn't. Never liked each other's messages where all three of us were there). I felt humiliated and decided to go NC because i was finding it difficult to cut off completely. One week into NC and he blocked me on FB, removed my number and unfollowed me on Instagram. I broke my NC to ask him because he kept lecturing me about unfriending and unfollowing on social media. He said he did it for me because he knew his posts would affect me and that he's also hurting but ain't showing (liar). I told him there's going to be consequences. I immediately blocked him on all social media platforms and went back into NC. It's going to be two weeks. Mentally, I'm in better space. Though i want him to come back (i was genuinely happy with him) I have also accepted the fact that he may not come back (i have a feeling that he won't). That i have to be okay with it.

Been in NC for 4 months, it felt like I did 70/80% of the relationship and still got dumped, even tho I told her twice she should show more effort which didn’t last. now to be honest I know she is probably to stubborn, prideful and uncomfortable to reach out first if she wanted to, but in all honesty deep down inside I know I was to good for her and I’m at a point that I’m even thinking about never talking or searching contact with her again. I told my self if she doesn’t show effort before 2024 it will never happen again on a serious level and I probably shouldn’t even give her this time frame. Just do you, work on yourself, become psychically and mentally stronger and in shape, get financially stronger and go on with your life is the only thing you should do, why choose someone who doesn’t choose you? Only you can make that decision. If you truly love him and miss him, that's one thing, but if you just miss being with someone, that's different. My advice is to get a piece of paper, and write down all the reasons that you would want to get back with him, and then write down why you wouldn't want to. In the end, you'll have the starting point for your next move. Good luck, and remember, you are worth all the world to someone, so don't settle for someone who doesn't see you that way.❤️

Watching your exes stories is not a good step for no contact , cus you are already breaking it. Your ex needs to feel your loss , no liking of his post, no comment, no watching of stories . Nothing at all. If he reaches out you can respond .He has to do the measure work to reconnect with you and keep things going .

Mine won't leave me alone. She dumped me, I instantly went no contact, and less than two weeks later she keeps bugging me. I love her, but I respect myself more. Remember, people always want what they can't have. I don't think she actually wanted to dump me, but only did it to manipulate me. She failed, and she can now take her drama somewhere else.
