That sub zero(?) white combined with those wheels and red Brembo calipers is sick looking. 381HP on a car that small...freakin' love it! I love what these performance cars are doing with their sound systems like JBL, Bang & Olufsen, Harman Kardon, etc. is beautiful. Nothing like driving a car like at that at high speeds melting those tires and maximum volume melting your face off...great review Joe!

I was looking forward to this video since you released the previous one on the Supra, now we just need to wait until June for pricing. Great content Joe!!! A little tip for BiG guns , tell him to try lowering the shutter speed on the camera so that he doesn’t get flickering when shooting LCD screens or the dashboard. I’m thinking that maybe because these cars come from Japan he might even need to change from NTSC to PAL to avoid that flickering,

This was a great review! While I used to own an 87 Supra, I missed the market on the MKIV. Although I wish it was a 2+2 with an optional targa top, like the Supras have traditionally been, this is an excellent successor to the MKIV, with an engine that is superior to the 2JZGTE. I feel that this is not only a Supra, but also a modern day successor to the Z4M Coupe, which is one of my favorite cars. I just wish it had a manual, but it looks like it's being talked about and considered in future models.

It's okay if it doesn't have that much power. Idk if you guys realize it or not but this is a great opportunity to upgrade and tune this Supra. And those fake vents are removable!! 👌🏻 that's one of the reason they keep it that way.

I think paddle shifters are not very useful with ZF8HP trans. They are for 6 speed auto or dual clutch trans.

I certainly love Joe's reviews, best I've seen in a long time, smart, detailed, and humor I can relate to. However when it comes to this new Supra: Objective- BMW made a great chassis, superb 8sp transmission(outsourced from ZF), excellent turbo I-6, active rear diff, and top notch suspension. Not too mention a classy and simplistic interior. This could be an incredible car. Subjective- Then Toyota comes along, with multiple designers(undoubtedly having unspecified amounts of hallucinogenics) designed and approved just about the most FUGLY body design to go with it all. I was at my city's auto show earlier this year, took one look it and said "what a mess", my friend shaking his head "I really don't know how I feel about this". After Joe's review, I think a great drivers car, speed and handling excellent....but then I look at it again.....

That Supra in the corners was so fun and playful like the civic type r, both are those cars are of momentum in the corners to rocket out of corners in the straight line. The Supra and civic type r are more fun to drive especially in the track or in the winding road than the mustang or camaro. Good job Toyota and Honda 👍🏼

You might like the 4 cyl model then. Its still plenty fast with good handling, and the rumor is its going to start low 40k. Not cheap by any means, but it maybe something you could afford now...assuming you're an essential worker that didn't get laid off.

Raiti, Raiti, Raiti my Man; you have the BEST review! You darn near need a movie, and the least a TV contract! Great Job my Man! On the car; I'm a JDM guy, more specific, Nissan/Infiniti! But my Dad is a Toyota/Lexus Man, go figure! I've always loved Supras! My first car was a 79 Celica, passed down from Pops! But our Neighbor had the Supra!!! He had three different models! The last was like a 94 with the targa! In that beautifully weird oem cherry-black. For this one, I love this car, but I'm trying to hold out for that new Fairlady! I feel like I'm cheating right now! But she better hurry up and get hear! And please at least compete with the 0-60😅 But Toyota is killing the market with variety of selection! Love what they're doing across the board right now! Nissan is slipping poorly! The GR 86 and Corolla Sportback both seem will be awesome! Nissan has nothing to compete with them. Even the Camary makes you turn your head now, while that Altima makes you drop it, 😭. Alright, I'm done! Thanks for the review and the soapbox! 🤪🤣😂

I test drove a 2020 a few days ago. I like a lot about the car (size, pricing, looks inside and out (particularly in person)) but the one item I'm not 100% sold on is the sound. I feel like the car is too quiet and subdued unless your foot is planted into the gas pedal. Once you let off the pedal (other than for a crackle or two)) it doesn't hold the revs up much or have much drama (like say the way a 2019 Mustang GT does). Sports cars need to sound good (for me) to make that fun, emotional connection. As I recall, when I test drove a BMW M240i a year ago (and a 2018 M2) I recall those cars holding the rpms up higher and longer when coming off the gas pedal (in sport or sport plus mode - whatevever it was). Those seemed more exciting in that way. Maybe I'm remember those cars wrong. Anyway, if the Supra is in "normal" mode driving the car is almost a non-event -- it almost has to stay in sport mode to be fun IMO. The Supra is maybe a little too refined. I may have a closer look at the 2021 when it's available to see if I wasn't giving it a fair shake on the short test drive of the 2020.
