Hi Alisa, I know you are married so this is not a subtle or unconscious flirt. I just want to say it's refreshing to see a woman age so beautifully and with such grace. I have a twelve year old daughter, removed from my life by the testimony of an bias "expert witness" who lied in her reports and could not corroborate her reports in court. Unfortunately she is an expert witness for that same court for over a decade so the lazy judge followed her recommendations. Anyway, I have a daughter and I'm concerned with what she could see in this world, the AI, social media clout, fake lips, plastic surgery, etc. I hope you do videos directed to women on beauty.

This is great discussion, relevant and timely. I also think it’s easy to blur lines between Christianity and culture. Left or right. Once our opponents are primarily defined by a political position, we are taking a political position. Not to say Christians can’t politically engage, just that God doesn’t take sides in this way. We are to take His side as Christians. The enemy is ever and only spiritual, and the goal is salvation for the lost of spiritual Israel, not any nation, culture or party.

It's crazy how most, if not all, have included Christian theology in some way and then warped it. Utopia. "We must burn Utopia." I believe the quest for Utopia is a reflection of our internal purpose for eternal relationship with God in heaven. I don't think we need to burn it, but lean in to that inate desire as a means to share the gospel. Utopia is coming. It's eternity in heaven. It's not possible in this world, but that desire is there for a reason.

One of my degrees is in economics. Along with Marx and other thinkers, I studied Hegel in college and even wrote a term paper on him. I can't believe I got a great grade on that paper since I barely understood what he was talking about! The class was great, Comparative Economic Systems (ASU). I really had to struggle to understand Hegelian Dialectic Materialism, and Marx's Capital, but I sailed though the stuff regarding Adam Smith, Schumpeter, Hayek and all of the New-Classical stuff. Loved economics, not so much Hegel and Marx though.

Many people don't want to know the real Jesus. One of the things Jesus said that really woke me up to his authority, strength, and straight forward way of speaking was when he said "Let the dead bury the dead" to the man who wanted to go home first and bury his father. Following Jesus was clearly the most important thing thar could be done. Jesus was clear on priorities. It was NOT our feelings. He had compassion for real suffering and helped. He DID NOT pander to ANYONE. I have had it with this made up false Jesus that has been invented by the "woke". Jesus was NOT a social justice warrior. He wants to save our eternal souls. This world has an expiration date on it. Praise God!! People are not just thrown away by God. People CHOOSE to hate the real Jesus. Even the Gospel is offensive to the self righteous. I was one of those people 20 years ago. Our wonderful God pursued a very undeserving, rotten person like me and saved me. I don't deserve his mercy, forgiveness, or love. There is no reason to make up a whimpy weak God, when we have such an amazing, awesome, perfect, and patient God. ❤️ ❤❤

Its interesting how even within the dialectic, which argues for eventual "oneness", and argues against " the binary", is in itself, binary. Taking a thesis and the antithesis to form a new synthesis, cannot occur without a binary. Having a thesis and an antithesis is binary. Also, could an argument be made that if synthesis is the thesis, "anti-synthesis" would then be the antithesis, which would then argue that anti-synthesis is binary. But I guess Hegel would argue that synthesis and anti-synthesis are contradictory, which is the dialectic. But doesnt the contradictory, in order to be contradictory, require a binary? A singularity cannot produce a contradictory, one thing cannot contradict a "nothing". Two things, or a binary, are required to produce a contradictory. And according to Hegel, if the full synthesis occurs, and the oneness is manifest, does the contradictory then cease to exist? What, then, happens to the dialectic? It makes me thing he is arguing for his argument to become so successful and reach a completion that it collapses in upon itself.

How do you reconcile the fact that you are a woman and you preach and the Bible says women are not to preach and lead a church? I am so confused on this. I hear preachers saying the Bible and God's word are the same yesterday today and tomorrow. His commands do not change just because it is 2024 on and on and on..Then when the subject of women preaching is questioned that's different, that's the old way, the old testament, the old beliefs, old culture, rules, whatever. How can women preachers have it both ways? Thank you for your response.

Hebrews 8 A Superior Covenant 7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion for a second one. 8 But finding fault with His people,[c] He says:[d] Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah- 9 not like the covenant that I made with their ancestors on the day I took them by their hands to lead them out of the land of Egypt. I disregarded them, says the Lord, because they did not continue in My covenant. 10 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people. 11 And each person will not teach his fellow citizen,[e] and each his brother, saying, “Know the Lord,” because they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them. 12 For I will be merciful to their wrongdoing, and I will never again remember their sins.[f][g] 13 By saying, a new covenant, He has declared that the first is old. And what is old and aging is about to disappear.

Maybe not to your values. But American democracy isn’t working either because if the same reason. Sin nature. American culture allows more of the powerful to take advantage of the weak. Here’s the context on who Jesus actually condemned Matthew 23 Religious Hypocrites Denounced 23 Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples: 2 “The scribes and the Pharisees are seated in the chair of Moses.[a] 3 Therefore do whatever they tell you, and observe it. But don’t do what they do,[b] because they don’t practice what they teach. 4 They tie up heavy loads that are hard to carry[c] and put them on people’s shoulders, but they themselves aren’t willing to lift a finger[d] to move them. 5 They do everything[e] to be observed by others: They enlarge their phylacteries[f] and lengthen their tassels.[g] 6 They love the place of honor at banquets, the front seats in the synagogues, 7 greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by people. 8 “But as for you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ because you have one Teacher,[h] and you are all brothers. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father, because you have one Father, who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called masters either, because you have one Master,[i] the Messiah. 11 The greatest among you will be your servant. 12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. 13 “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You lock up the kingdom of heaven from people. For you don’t go in, and you don’t allow those entering to go in. [14 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You devour widows’ houses and make long prayers just for show.[j] This is why you will receive a harsher punishment.][k] 15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to make one proselyte, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as fit for hell[l] as you are! 16 “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever takes an oath by the sanctuary, it means nothing. But whoever takes an oath by the gold of the sanctuary is bound by his oath.’[m] 17 Blind fools![n] For which is greater, the gold or the sanctuary that sanctified the gold? 18 Also, ‘Whoever takes an oath by the altar, it means nothing. But whoever takes an oath by the gift that is on it is bound by his oath.’[o] 19 Blind people![p] For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? 20 Therefore, the one who takes an oath by the altar takes an oath by it and by everything on it. 21 The one who takes an oath by the sanctuary takes an oath by it and by Him who dwells in it. 22 And the one who takes an oath by heaven takes an oath by God’s throne and by Him who sits on it. 23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You pay a tenth of[q] mint, dill, and cumin,[r] yet you have neglected the more important matters of the law-justice, mercy, and faith. These things should have been done without neglecting the others. 24 Blind guides! You strain out a gnat, yet gulp down a camel! 25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed[s] and self-indulgence! 26 Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup,[t] so the outside of it[u] may also become clean. 27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and every impurity. 28 In the same way, on the outside you seem righteous to people, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. 29 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous, 30 and you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we wouldn’t have taken part with them in shedding the prophets’ blood.’[v] 31 You, therefore, testify against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ sins![w] 33 “Snakes! Brood of vipers! How can you escape being condemned to hell?[x] 34 This is why I am sending you prophets, sages, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues and hound from town to town. 35 So all the righteous blood shed on the earth will be charged to you,[y] from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the sanctuary and the altar. 36 I assure you: All these things will come on this generation!

Wokeness/world]'s Utopia is ONENESS in UNRITHEOUSNESS rather than Oneness in Righteousness (Life in Jesus). Our inheritance of unrighteousness in Adam is the issue. How can we escape being in him? God can take us out of Adam and put us into Jesus through faith in his shed blood, death, and resurrection (nothing is impossible with God), then being baptized by the Holy Spirit into Jesus. Consequently we receive Jesus' inheritance of Righteousness, fulling realized in the new earth and new heaven.

1 Timothy 2 Instructions to Men and Women 8 Therefore, I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or argument. 9 Also, the women are to dress themselves in modest clothing, with decency and good sense, not with elaborate hairstyles, gold, pearls, or expensive apparel, 10 but with good works, as is proper for women who affirm that they worship God. 11 A woman should learn in silence with full submission. 12 I do not allow a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; instead, she is to be silent. 13 For Adam was created first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and transgressed. 15 But she will be saved through childbearing, if she continues[b] in faith, love, and holiness, with good judgment.

Colossians 2 8 Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elemental forces of the world, and not based on Christ. 9 For the entire fullness of God’s nature[b] dwells bodily[c] in Christ, 10 and you have been filled by Him, who is the head over every ruler and authority. 11 You were also circumcised in Him with a circumcision not done with hands, by putting off the body of flesh, in the circumcision of the Messiah.[d] 12 Having been buried with Him in baptism, you were also raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And when you were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive with Him and forgave us all our trespasses. 14 He erased the certificate of debt, with its obligations, that was against us and opposed to us, and has taken it out of the way by nailing it to the cross. 15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and disgraced them publicly; He triumphed over them by Him.[e]

”We will take a simple little verse and show you why it is not addressed to the natural man, Ecclesiastes 3:15: “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been; and God seeks what has been driven away.” The “natural man” cannot grasp that, for to him reality is based only on the evidence of the senses. The man of reason could justify the verse’s end, saying if it has any meaning then the writer must mean recurrence. The sun comes every day and the moon completes its cycle and the seasons come and go. If we took a picture of the universe today, the scientists can compute how long it will take to return to this point in the picture. So the intellectual man could justify the verse; but that is not what is meant, for it is addressed not to the man of reason or the man of sense, but to the man of Imagination. What is it all about? “That which is, already has been; that which is to be, already has been, and God seeks what has been driven away.”
