Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part One - 100% Ultra-Nightmare w/ cutscenes

I wanted a full playthrough that included cutscenes, and since my first playthrough glitched out where 30-40% of the demons just decided to wait around and do nothing on the first level this should be better.
100% here is just getting all exploration items. I'm sure it's possible to skip a lot of fights, and since there's no combat rating I can only imagine this as a speedrun category would be very uninteresting. I'll leave that for others to figure out.

Please just ignore everything between 26:20 and 27:45 :) I just didn't remember what was supposed to happen here and I had disabled use/action prompt so I assumed the door wasn't functioning, heh.
Had 2 close calls in this run, got kind of stuck at one point during the buff totem marauder fight, I could have switched to saving throw, but I still pretty convinced I'd win even with no health left, heh. The other close call was half way through the holt, thought I had hit that dread knight with enough to at least stagger him, but I found out I assumed wrong when I landed on top of him.
I thought this DLC was really good, I don't really have any complaints about it with exception of the secret encounter skin pop up notification, really wish they could have come up with some better way of announcing the reward or just simply not make it appear on a second playthrough. Maybe there was some way to disable it in the options, but I didn't look.
My next plans are to do more classic doom speedruns, while I am unlikely to ever speedrun doom 3 or the pc port for doom64, I might consider to do some sort of playthrough in some way or another just to have a video of those on my channel some day.

Tyrants really aren’t that threatening. I was playing some of the dlc earlier, forgot the name of the level, it’s the one right after the blood swamps but anyways I was in an arena and they threw a tyrant and a marauder at me at the same time along with a hoard of demons, I was honestly more afraid of what was around me than the marauder or tyrant because I kept waiting for the marauder to strike at times but he would just stand there doing F all, it was so frustrating because it’s hard to have any bit of patience playing doom. I was playing in ultra violence btw, feels like a respectable difficulty considering I’m not a hardcore PC doom player, I play on switch and it’s sometimes hard to quickly cycle to a different weapon in the right moments. But back to the tyrant thing, it was literally just standing in a corner trying to keep up with me just zooming through portals. The main problem with stronger demons like them is that they take up a lot of your time and your focus on your surroundings, especially if your not as talented as the guy in this video was. I normally see myself focusing too long on one demon at times leaving me with a lot of scratches. I’m quick with the stick and can think pretty quickly in dire situations most of the time, but not nearly as godly as this guys doom gameplay

After the surprise effect of his first encounter has died down, it is possible to assume that he would have gotten used to his existence. My first marauder encounter ever left me shook when I died the first time to him. It took me quite a while, I would say about under a hour at most, it was really difficult at the time and left me wondering if I could even beat this type of beast in a normal arena let alone the main campaign but as they threw more marauders at me I got better at killing them. Now it only takes me around 30 seconds, a bit more if the marauder refuses to cooperate at times 😂

Apparently, Davoth was SO mighty, an echo of his power resonated through the multiverse to create alternate versions of himself (thankfully not Primevals...as far as we know). This is by far some of the highest-caliber play of Doom Eternal that I've ever seen. You're constantly flying around the place, and you're barely even taking a scratch most of the time, even on a difficulty level where that's much of what there is to be expected. Little wonder, then, that the demons hate and fear him as much as they do; it's not just that they just can't kill him, _but they just can't catch him, either._ On a less reverent note, I commend you for how you make short work of Cyber-Mancubi. Good work all around.

This is the best gameplay I have ever seen. I beat this game and I do not understand how you change weapons the way you do...? You switch to the exact weapon you need at the moment while movement is perfect and focusing on when to use extra features perfectly, fire belch, granade, blood punch, grappling hook. This is out of this world good. Much respect man 💪
