Doc, you made the Protodioscin video a little way back. How much of that gets converted into DHEA? What's the average conversion rate if you know by chance? Thanks very much and great work!💯👍💪

Love this varied but targeted advice; it’s straightforward and makes sense, I try these tips but can be inconsistent especially recently but know my main issue is getting back into a good sleep pattern. It’s so important in healing.

Dr. Jin. Amazing work. Could you please start a video series on the best supplements and preventative measures against cancer? Considering it's the #2 highest cause of death in the world, you would think more doctors would be sharing ways to treat and prevent it other than relying on allopathic medicine

I had a functional doc eliminate (Aip) for a year and a half. I wasted away to nothing. I was so scared to reintroduce foods. I went to him for vertigo. Vertigo cleared up but then I developed bms (burning mouth syndrome) which I still live with (5years on and off). B12 helped a lot with this, but still have. Anyway.... glad to hear you say, only do for short period of time

Hi, Dr.Jin! Have you ever heard of Grounding? For at least the last 15 years, my wife has always been so sore and tired. She would often tell me that she "just wants to feel normal again". So, in my searches to help her, I came across the Earthing documentary and bought her a sheet for the hell of it. I have to say. After 4 days sleeping on it, she has FINALLY told me that she feels normal for the first time in MANY years. Her Fitbit used to show her getting maybe half hour of rem and deep sleep. Since sleeping on the grounding mat, she is getting an hour to an hour and a half of each. Her aches and pains in her back and arms are virtually gone. I truly believe it helps. If not healing itself, it gives the body the negative ions it needs to do it's own repairs. There are double blind studies on Ncbi about grounding that are extremely promising in the anti inflammatory field. Here is a link to the studies. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4378297/ I think this should be #1 followed by diet and exercise. But that's just my personal experience. All that being said. If someone is on blood thinners, diabetic or thyroid meds they should consult their doctor when grounding for extended periods, as I think the thinning of the blood, lowering insulin resistance, or kickstarting the thyroid could cause you to get some dizzy spells or other side effects the same as taking the medications if you didnt have those conditions or they weren't as advanced (if you know what I mean) So medication may need to lowered.

so no matter what I do, i ALWAYS wake up exactly three hours after I fall asleep... takes me about an hour or so to fall back... I am doing IF... so I stop eating at 4 pm....eat again at 11 the next morning... is this why? is my blood sugar causing me to wake up.... I do go to the bathroom since I'm up... I am also eating only veggies non starch and meat.. no red meat... I am doing IF for inflammation in my back... so I dont want to eat.....I just got through a bad flare up of back issue where all they would do is give me prednisone or an injection in my back.... (disk issues) and eating clean seems to help but I ate a lot of crap during thanksgiving and just before it too.lesson learned

You may want to shift your feeding window a bit later in the day. My window is 12-6 and this works pretty well for me. Also, if you need back pain relief, try taking acetyl l carnitine, r alpha lipoic acid, n acetyl cysteine (nac) and glycine. These 4 supplements taken together nearly eliminated my back pain and sciatica. They are very involved in nerve/cell health and repair, as well as many other health benefits. There are lots of natural supplements that can help reduce nerve pain.

Try taking glycine and magnesium about an hour before bed. Glycine and certain types of magnesium (bisglycinate, malate, l-threonate) are very relaxing to the brain. Glycine also promotes glutathione production which is the most powerful antioxidant in the body. I take 3000mg of glycine and 300mg magnesium complex every night before bed and it has really improved my sleep, but you must have good sleep hygiene before anything else will help... no electronics in bed, same bedtime everyday, no food close to bedtime, cool temp, etc.

Carnivore diet?!? Animal protein is extremely inflammatory. I know you’re not a nutritionist but that is very bad advice.
@dakotad.8609
@dakotad.8609 Жыл бұрын
Carnivore diet is the least inflammatory diet possible by nature. Think about all the things people have allergies to: soy, gluten, peanuts, almonds, chocolate, peppers, etc. Notice how they are all plant foods. Animal protein such as beef is one of the most neutral foods you can eat, as it lacks plant toxins such as lectins, oxalates etc. I have never heard of anyone being allergic to beef, as it is incredibly rare and only really occurs if it is highly processed with various other additives which can cause issues, however pure grass-fed beef is not an issue. The traditional food guidelines are complete garbage and are why people are getting more and more fat and unhealthy. One system ranks lucky charms as healthier than an egg. What a joke.
