this pair seem like laughing advert of errrm laughing toothpaste nonsense talk ... they are fake ... you would get your microbiome within 24 hours by eating any food that has any microbe ... but if that be so any meal whatsoever would do ... only probiotic they mention is today's fad kombucha ... yesterday's fad was moringa before that ashwagandha ... you would be better off just eating leftover from yesterday ... how about trying south indian idli ... or 3 days old unflavored plain yogurt left on kitchen counter with plain glutinous rice ... or how about let rice too rot on kitchen counter alongside yogurt

Seems like Sarah's attempt at click bait to boost her profile and increase her channel traffic using Dr. B popularity rather than answer the question the title raises: what do I do/eat to heal my gut overnight?
@lawrencemoss41645 ай бұрын
I did a search on microbiome and this came up. I'm not a doctor just giving you "my" personal experience. About 5 years ago I started researching the microbiome. I bought books, watched videos did research and was astonished at how important the microbiome is. My hypothesis was, if I eat the exact nutrients that my body needs I will loose fat and gain muscle. At the time when I started I was 6ft 190 pounds. I'll shorten this as much as I can. I started experimenting with fermentation. Started making my own bacteria from fruits. Over time I learned how to make a bacteria that was fueled off sugar and fruit. The bacteria pickled anything that was placed into it. Long story short. I am 220 pounds now. I started with vegan, then pescatarian to natural chicken and fish. I don't use the word cheat, I prefer treat because cheat has too much negative energy attached to it. Here is my rule. Everything I eat must be whole and healthy 96% of the time. The treat is modest, ex: I make my own biscuits, butter, sour cream because I control what is in it. Next rule, if I cant pronounce the ingredient then its not for me. Too many chemicals, additives mess with the microbiome. Everyone is different but one thing that's the same for most is you need fiber. FIBER FIBER FIBER!! Natural fiber to feed your gut. Watch the sugar. Inflammation thrives off sugar. Believe it or not. If you train your microbiome it will respond in ways you never could have imagined. I no longer have sugar cravings. No salt or fat. I have tried all diets you can think off. I eat whole foods, a lot of beans and whole wheat. For those who have issues with any of the foods I have mentioned, I would say consult the person you get your medical advice from. That also goes for anyone reading this. I only feed my gut what it needs and realize that I need to protect it as if my life depended on it. For the last 5 years I ate the same exact food each day only changing as my 6 month bloodwork came in. Now I never feel anything in my stomach. I am in sync with my microbiome and I have never felt better. Having a healthy microbiome also boost your mood and allows one to make better decisions, IMOP. Hope that helps.

Hi Dr. Bulsiewicz, I got both of your books and was gong ho on starting on the new recipes. I have eaten organic since I was 19 and always eat plants. I have gut problems and also Sjogren's. I had the Sjogren's under control by stopping all grains and was still having gut issues. It was difficult to get enough fiber to keep my bowels regular and without pain. Anyway, I found that I loved the chia puddings in the morning, but after 2 days, I have joint pain in my hands and hips and notice that my memory is declining, where I can't find the words that I am looking for. My hip and knee joints also hurt. I woke up with a very dry mouth, which hasn't happened in 2 months, so I seem to be reacting to the Chia seeds. I would absolutely love to add the grains back into my diet, but now am afraid that I will only make this condition worse. I know that your expertise is on the gut, which is actually doing very well right now, but it is aggravating my other condition. This is quite difficult. Karola

Some people need less fiber- sometimes a carnivore diet can be very therapeutic but long term i don't believe a carnivore diet is optimal so you have to get past the diet dogma and find what's right for your bio-individuality. Check out Dr. Peter Osborne and Kick it Naturally KZbin channels for quality info.

Cook your food then refrigerate it. It will grow bacteria slowly in the fridge that will help break it down, whatever food it may be will grow bacteria specific to it. You don’t need to let it rot, even 1 day will produce enough to get you started. Another thing not mentioned is a dormant gallbladder and it not producing all the enzymes required to break down the food properly in the gut, lactase being one of the most common. The only way to jump start this from my experience is a keto diet for 1-2 months. You’ll have an iron gut after that and will poop on choice and not have so many emergency craps out of nowhere

This guy is a vegan, and though I don't have anything against them, I prefer to be a omnivore. He has pretty strong opinions about dairy being bad for everyone, but that simply just isn't true. Yes some people are lactose intolerant and just simply consume too much, but for many others it is a source joy and good health. I've been a cashier at Walmart for five years and see many people in their 80's, 90's, and even centenarians who enjoy milk, ice cream, bacon, cookies, and yes plenty of vegetables/fruits too. I think just as important as what you eat, is how much and your general mindset when you eat(are you rushed and emotional or are you calm and grateful?).
@2paranoid2think14 күн бұрын
Just because old people drink milk, doesn't mean it's healthy. Clinical studies over and over again, prove that diary is very unhealthy. Only dairy industry funded studies and their propaganda say dairy is healthy.

Please stop telling people you can fix your gut problem in 24 hours. If you can fix it that fast and it's not much of a problem in the first place. I've been eating the Mediterranean diet with no grains at all and no sugars or processed food or anything like that. For a few months and I am still in hell.
@TiggerHappy685 ай бұрын
Also agree. To say heal overnight is a stretch. Maybe you can begin the move in the right direction. I was doing the same at one point and then I realized the veggies were bothering me. Talking joint pain and deteriorating cartilage. I could not heal my gut while eating veggies. I stopped the veggies and I began to heal. The oxylates and lectins in the veggies were bothering me (didn’t realize) while having a bad microbiome and leaky gut. I stopped all veggies and in 3 months I was able to walk down stairs normal after years of having to step side by said one step at a time in pain. I can now eat them everyone in a while healing and will add in more after full healing. I know some people argue you must have vegetables in order to be healthy. But I wasn’t healthy I’m now beginning to be healthy -- just “food” for thought --everyone’s body is different and I had to keep experimenting. I wish you the best of luck on your healing journey

Try prebiotics, probiotics, and fermented foods (from the frozen section) - and do this for a few weeks. Also, try fasting - it's a science but you can start with 14 hours (including sleeping 7 or 8 hours), then gradually move up to 36 hours. It is easy with a low carb and very moderate protein diet and time-restricted eating windows. Also, AVOID high oxalate foods (100 mg a day maximum), lectins (Dr. Gundry), and SEED oils, also eat organic-only foods. And get treated for mental and emotional trauma (lots of techniques, music therapy, forgiveness, etc.). If you do this for 1 or 2 months consistently it could help you with some of the issues.

Well the Title says fueled by Fiber. My Gastro told me to take Metamusil to keep things flowing and frequent bathroom..it has helped me poop alot better. Because its so hard to eat enough fiber out of fruits and vegetables unless we pound fruits and vegetables all day. How many of us actually do that. Also ask your doctor if fiber is good for you.
@ketoacid33933 ай бұрын
The gut microbiome feeds and breeds on what you feed it. And the byproducts it releases are chemical transmitters that make you want to crave that food more. So if you eat high sugar foods that is what your gut microbiome is going to crave. You can't out willpower it. You have to feed it healthy fibers.
