It is a problem, but not in the way he stated it. The question isn't 'Why didn't they get the other universes', the question is, 'When the Supreme Kai got involved, why wasn't the God of Destruction contacted to deal with the problem? Because if the Supreme Kai dies, the God of Destruction dies too. Of course the answer being that anything above Supreme Kai's didn't exist yet as a concept, but still it makes a plothole in the series. This is why you shouldn't make a series till you have most of the 'Concepts/Universe' already fleshed out before writing it. You won't get many, if any, plotholes then.

jirodyne Beerus was asleep at the time, and Whis doesn't wake him up. And don't think Whis cares about whether or not Beerus dies, he doesn't. He offers Goku the chance to become the next God of Destruction, showing that he's already planning ahead. The angels, aside from say Cus, don't care that much about their respective God of Destruction.

Napalm Blaziken You're forgetting the whole 'Been around since the beginning of time' bit. As in he has been rampaging and killing things since before even the Universes were created by Zeno. Or if they meant the beginning of Universe 7, even then it means Kid Buu was going around wiping out life and planets for a very long time, time where Beerus was awake and active for. Especially since, remember, we know Beerus was awake as early as showing up at Planet Vegeta while Vegeta was a child, which was only what, 30-35 years ago? I think he and goku are in their 40s now right?

jirodyne That's true, but he's cycled between hibernation and destruction, so it's possible that Buu's destruction cycles were done while Beerus was asleep. Remember that while Planet Vegeta was being destroyed, Buu wasn't active, he was in his hibernation. Plus, Beerus is pretty bad at his job. We know that he blows up planets for something as stupid as hide and seek. There's a reason why Universe 7 is up for destruction in the Tournament of Power. Shin revealed that only 28 planets have life, putting them at the second to lowest mortal rating.

+Tharja Is Best Waifu lol no, XV is it's own thing, XV Saiyans are not Humans with Saiyan blood, they are supposed to be full blooded Saiyans, that no one knows where they are from, don't have tails for some reason, are wearing human martial arts clothing, and can have, as the guy said, white hair. It's a game actual plothole that they never, NEVER explained. They are just called Saiyans for a reason, in the character creation they only show pictures of full blooded Saiyans like Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta and Goku, when if they were Humans with Saiyan blood they would've added more popular examples like Future Trunks or Gohan. By all means they are Saiyans like Raditz or Nappa.

Masterwar15 they are based on the saiyans from DBO. Its rumored that this is the case as half saiyans or humans with some certain anount of saiyan heritage are stronger than regular saiyans. This is teased in DBXV2 where you train with Vegeta, Vegeta wonders why and how a saiyan has managed to be able to be as strong as he was even in his SSB form. The answer isn't answered but its pretty obvious when you think about it. All Half saiyans we have seen that have parents with different coloured hair have different coloured hair and are vastly superior to their parents in terms of their capabilities. Or like I mentioned before it may be none of that and it may just be saiyans from a timeline where their hair isn't always black. Infinite timelines = infinite possibilities, just like how Namekians can be black and Red if they feel like it.

That isn't even what's wrong with the author's statments in the first place. Hit and Frost are from Different Universes in the first place. Why would they know of Buu? Some creature terrorizing some other universe entirely? If you want maybe an actual plot hole, why didn't the Kais of Universe 7 go and contact Beerus and or Whis to stop Buu if his destruction was so out of hand? And if Beerus and Supreme Kai are linked, then what about the Other Supreme Kais that were already killed? Did Beerus have 3 or so 1-ups used?

But if all the Kais die, specifically the Supreme Kai, or at least the one that is linked to Beerus dies...It would be in Beerus's best interest to wake up and stop Buu from killing them all. If nothing else for his own benefit. Atleast Beerus knows not to destroy the entire universe and if not Whis can keep him in check as he does.

The only issue I have with the Namek 5 minutes is the talking they do... The fight sequences are easily explained by assuming they aren't in real time... These fighters are so fast... Look at when Hit's Time Leap is 0.5 seconds... He wrecks Goku the first time he uses the 0.5 second time leap... The talking though, that would be in real time

I think that he actually does not. It does not matter whether they were thought up during the making of DBZ or not. Now they canonically existed during the events of DBZ so if that makes a plot hole then there is a plot hole. The fact that that plothole would have been introduced in DBS would make no difference. Having said that, the existence of Hit and Frost is not a plot hole at all. Kai's do not watch each other's universe and due to Buu's interference the current Supreme Kai was very inexperienced and had not even watched his own universe properly.

@@oneheckofabanana2016 the only thing I would say about the kais and buu is with the introduction to beerus is why would beerus allow even the slightest chance of the Supreme Kai getting killed by buu or anyone else meaning that beerus would in turn die himself .but like it's been said , beerus hadn't been a character yet nor did they plan to keep the series going that far . but they need to account for these things when continuing a series that wasn't ment to continue especially as a discovery writer that is toriyama . but that's dragonball . it's not factually perfect but fuck it , I still love the show and I hope it continues as long as possible and I can overlook these small inconsistencies and if it bothers anyone that bad then they don't have to watch it .

The 5 minute thing is cinematic timing. SO MUCH can be done when you are Massively faster than light. Goku reached from one side of namek to another in less then a second stated in guides. But it was shown to be at least 4-5 seconds due to cinematic timing

Remember, his original plan was to blow up Namek immediately, but it failed. Frieza already fucked up. So when he says, "in five minutes it'll explode," what makes us think he had any idea what he was talking about? I think it was bravado, to make it seem like he was still in control when doing what was actually a desperate last-ditch effort to save his own life. It's not canon, but I think it's the best explanation based on the available evidence.

Massive plot hole: why didn't Yamcha ever turn Super Saiyan? Plot hole: Why Gotenks' name isn't Trunken, since obviously Gotenks is 80% Trunks and 20% Goten as stated by Masashi Kishimoto and Eiichiro Oda? Well personally READING the Frieza V Goku fight, knowing that the manga was straight forward and fast I timed myself reading from the point he threw his death ball to the point it exploded. By researching on Dragon Ball Wiki I found out that in DBZ episode 118 "Frieza's Counterattack" you can see the moon in one scene at the end from King Cold ship. I had to re-watch it to see if it was true and it is. That is another inconsistency. How did the moon get back after Piccolo destroyed. It's possible it was restored again but it wasn't ever explained.

He's something Isaac failed to mention: When Cell regenerated after exploding on King Kai's planet, in the manga and Japanese version of Z, he explains that an organ inside his head allows him to regenerate, as long not destroyed. This contradicts what happened earlier in the Cell games: Goku previously destroyed his entire upper body, head included, which should've prevented the android from regenerating. That's a real plot hole. Some other media have tried to correct this inconsistency. The funimation dub of Z has Cell explain that every cell in his body has a life of its own and one survived which allowed him to regenerate. And Xenoverse 2, the plot description for "Father to Son - The Last Kamehameha" states that "a small amount of Cell's DNA survived" when referring to how Cell survived his self-destruction. Also, I have nothing against Chris Isaac, I'm just pointing out a true plot hole.

I have my theories to support how gohan and Goku can watch future. 1. Everyone is forgetting that Bardock got the power to see future. 2. Goku got damage to his head when he was a kid, So maybe he may have been gone through some changes. 3. Goku has trained his mind from when he was a kid. Goku already knew to control Ki, Mind, etc. So maybe they both have got this power as Goku readed Krillin mind, Knew what was going on when he had the heart virus, Can telepathy people from literally outside his Universe, etc. 4. Goku may already have this Powers when be was born as he wasn't affected by mind attacks that much and when he was in hell with Chi-Chi, Goku easily broke illusions and mind tricks. So maybe this was one of the reasons.

Yes you do actually see stuff moving, the entirety of the dying planet. The magma bursting out of the planet it still moving as well. If they were fighting at light speed then nothing significantly slower than them would have been moving at all. If they were moving at light speed then Vegeta wouldn't be able to even see them fighting. Plus once again, they took time to stop and talk, multiple times, are you gonna say they were talking at light speed too? You have no clue what actually moving at the speed of light would mean. Time in TV shows moves differently than it does in reality, sure, but you cannot claim they were moving at light speed if with no actually visual representation or someone saying so. It was padding, plain and simple.

And once again, that does not explain how while they were fighting the area around them was not completely frozen. That Magma was not moving at light speed, the rocks and debris were not moving at light speed. No one said they were fighting at light speed, nor did they give any indication they were, thus they were not. And even if a SSJ was able to move at light speed, how then could a regular Saiyan like Vegeta even see them fighting? Whether or not a Saiyan can move at light speed or not doesn't matter here, fact is that it was never indicated at all in Goku's fight with Freeza that they were fighting at light speed.

If you watched Chi chi is beating the shyt out of goten when he changes he is in rage and attacks chi chi and she calls him a monster " Not another monster in the family " Goten explains to Gohan the first time he transforms and Chi Chi had been training him. This is the episode when Gohan asks goten to train with him , before he teaches Vidal to fly. I'm sure training with vegeta trunks got angry at some point, but unlike goten they don't show Trunks first time going SS.

With #1, if you remember in the Frieza saga Goku has the ability to read minds. He uses this skill on Krillin to catch up on what happened with Frieza before Goku arrived on Namek and it is very possible that Goku taught that ability to Gohan in the HBTC or he passed it on to Gohan as a genetic trait. So it’s highly possible that Goku accidentally or purposefully read the minds of Krillin and Tein and Yamcha and Piccolo etc to figure out a little bit of what was happening on the outside. Just a thought

As for number 9 it WAS five minutes. In Dragon Ball they're already stated they can move EXTREMELY fast. If you know special relativity then you'd know the faster you move through space the slower you move through time. So for them five minutes could feel like hours depending on their speed. Such as when Vegeta said "60 seconds is like an eternity" when fighting Kid Buu.

One thing you got wrong: the point he makes in Number 7, is that when Goku was originally brought back to life with the dragon balls, he was left on King Kai's planet with his body same with Piccolo, although when Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Krillin all appeared on Earth when they were brought back to life despite not being wished to appear there.
