am I the only one who gets the douchebag line when the one henchmen ginger dies and of course the world's strongest abridged joke about zap zap blub blub and brrrr?....there from the 2007-2008 2 dbz abridged movies before they were tfs...masako lani and vegeta when they did the old dbz movies before tfs existed when they didn't want to do the series cause of its length so they chose to do the movies yearly as a trio with neighborhood cluck productions and they were uploaded on the editor at the time a girl named itouched yusuke if I remember correctly...by late 2008 they got to tree of might and gave up cause it was such a bad script apparently vegeta3986 was a bitch to work with due to wanting script control according to lani......I think kaiser sorta worked on those films a little...but obviously veget3986 left the group after a few episodes due to disagreements..he voiced raditz and kami originally..I feel like i'm the only person who gets those jokes they left in for the hardcorest of fans but then again I get like 95% of their jokes whether it be obscure media random parody shit or dragonball related material...

Tien had a slight edge thanks to his techniques (and quickly lost most of them, got to slightly help against the next main villain only to mostly be a damsel before finally being jobbed out to Goku in a rematch rather than to set-up the next villain **that role was reserved for Krillin**). Piccolo was just shy of Goku, but his techniques and tactics were not enough to win the day (even with Carrot trying NOT to kill him). The next showing was with a much better move, but having to use an improvised version against a common foe (taking out Goku with said minor villain). And this was the end of their time as rivals. He kidnaps Gohan, trains him, dies for him, gets wished back, keeps saving him, etc. (becoming the babysitter he is now **still having not had a child of his own**). Vegeta? Defeats Goku outright. Saves and gets saved by him. Is motivated to actually train from their encounter (in preparation for the rematch), surpasses Goku (didn't even need a fusion like Pickle **both times**), gets overtaken, evens up bases (while lacking the option of a form higher still **trash though it is**) by exploiting a wizard and defeats Goku a second time. Anti-hero ends his mid-life crisis by doing what needs to be done (fusing) and becoming a proper hero (having died to protect Earth, his family, etc.) before helping to save the universe with just a bit more respect for his idiot vassal (not quite wanting to murder him anymore, but never giving up the desire to fight and surpass him **3-0, soon**). He is the long-standing arch-rival (inescapable agent of the protagonist's doom **just wrecking his fight record**). By definition, he is a "nemesis". Guy even took the main girl for himself (while having the child that saved multiple timelines **for a Terminator rip-off**). His role is cemented. NOTE: Those that thought Super was going to introduce a replacement (rather than glorified 'side-rivals') were quite delusional. They play things way too safe for that while flanderizing everyone (warping them into a caricature of themselves). Mind you, it isn't like Vegeta wasn't drastically altered as a character all at once (upon returning from the dead, he was practically another person **some Pet Sematary shit**). >the wish Nobody ever made it in canon. Vegeta is just made to give up caring about it. Nobody after Frieza even considers the option. Villains don't even care about the balls at that point.

@Language and Programming Channel in context of the tfs continuity. As a matter of fact this movie should honestly be seen after the frieza saga because napa is still dead in the frieza saga. Same for the lord slug movie. Lord slug should also be seen after the frieza saga in tfs continuity. Because lord slug had nail inside Piccolo's head while nail just got introduced to them as being inside Piccolo's head in the series

Ginger's dying line of "What a douchebag" was a nod to TFS's first Dead Zone Abridged movie, which wasn't anywhere near as good.. and which I don't even think you can find anymore. But yeah they did versions of Dead Zone and World's Strongest waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day... then redid them later once they got better. This is probably partially why the two new movies were released out of chronological order when all the other ones were released chronologically. EDIT: Or maybe it wasn't actually TFS? After doing some reading it looks like it was "Neighborhood Cluck"? I dunno, the history of it is confusing. EDIT 2: searching for Neighborhood cluck turned up the video! EDIT 4: I guess Neighborhood Cluck was some of the members of TFS before they actually formed TFS. Which is why there's a lot of voice actor (and some joke) overlaps.

It was a call back but the other group of people you mention was still TeamFourStar. They did a few of the movies before they formed the ground officially to do the TV series. They later redid the movies, such as the one shown in this video. I actually enjoy the original TFS movie a lot.

If Piccolo dies, Kami dies. If Kami dies, The dragonballs cannot be used. If the dragon balls cannot be used, then he can't wish for immortality. What's the confusion?

Kami created the Dragon balls on earth they are connected to his life. And Piccolo is his other half and linked to his life so if you kill one or the other the Dragon balls lose their power and turn to stone.

Kami created the Earth's dragon balls when he first arrived on Earth, so they only exist and work when Kami is alive. Later, Kami split himself into good and evil parts, which also linked Demon King Piccolo (and his "reincarnation" Piccolo Jr.) to the balls. If either Piccolo or Kami die, the dragon balls cease to work. Ergo, if the henchmen had succeeded in killing Piccolo, Garlic Jr would not have been able to have his wish granted.
