Call a spade a spade. The coach knew after the first try that eisenhuth couldn’t defend there yet he left him to let 4 tries in. And Ben Hunt was horrible in the first half forcing miracle short sides to nowhere and his long kicking game was non existent

Gall is 100% right, any team at the moment had a chance at the 8 at the start of the season. It just comes down to motivation, putting in 100% at all times and using your brain. Their first game this season they had a big win just enjoying their footy. The inconsistency comes from thinking too much. They should sign a Panther and let him organise and direct their training because their training is obviously working for the Panthers. Hunt is a great player but he seems to be steering the Dragons in the wrong direction.

A team’s style is dictated foremost by the roster available to the coach. If you have the forwards capable of maintaining a high pace for 80 minutes, great. But the Dragons obviously don’t, and so starting with a furious first half is stupid if you don’t have the personnel to sustain it for 80 minutes. Dragons need to another style. There’s more than one way to skin a cat.
