I saw Michelle from Lab Muffin Beauty Science do a video about the issue and she got labelled on one of those studies as a "propaganda source" which I found insulting as well as hilarious in sarcastically way. It is wonderful that Dr. Dray also talked about the issue. These two wonderful women offer such great information and I am glad to have found them before getting into the fearmongering.

I had to chuckle and reaffirm myself that the paper was a joke by saying lab muffin is a propaganda source and a blog site as reference is a no no for published works, as much as lab muffin puts out good info.

I'm getting really tired of being told to be scared everywhere I turn, given partial information to make me scared, and if I don't follow along I'm going to die. Over it. Since the benzene contamination issue, my area has been running commercials for legal help and a settlement if sunscreen has given you cancer and they blame all sunscreens for your cancer like all sunscreens have been purposely putting benzene in and now you're dying. It's ridiculous. I'm so over fear mongering.

Thank you for this! I was a bit concerned about all this going around, luckily none of my sunscreens had this away, but I'm glad I was informed that they're just fear mongering anyway.

I have no idea how doable this idea might be, but I would be interested in seeing you review studies/papers/research making inflammatory claims about ingredients to see how to interpret the data. Maybe it’s not doable because maybe the average subscriber (myself included) doesn’t have enough foundational knowledge to be able to understand how you break things down. But if I could learn how to read through that sort of information and be able to pick out where they might be being inflammatory, that would be sweet. Just a thought! I appreciate all your videos and work you put in to educate us. My skin and my wallet are grateful for your content. Thank you!

I think the main thing is the build up of multiple toxins. If everything is ok in small doses but if a woman typically uses 10/15 items/steps in a day it adds up! At what stage is small amount it’s not harmful to add them all together and we do have a problem?

Thank you for tackling this topic. The media's job is to make you read what they write! The more inflammatory and misleading the headline the more revenue they make from readers clicking on the article.
