I doubt you'll see this but I had to hop on here and thank you! For over half my life I've struggled with cystic acne and severely oily skin. I've tried countless products and went to multiple doctors who have prescribed me many different antibiotics, topical ointments, and oral medications. Some of which actually caused me pain or caused my skin to crack and bleed. I started watching your videos years ago. I would try products based on your recommendations but I don't think I was truly listening. I was just looking for a quick fix. However, recently I decided to take everything I've learned from you and apply it to myself. I found an SPF that doesn't break me out and I put it on everyday multiple times a day. I started being more mindful of how much water I drink. I discovered that I was washing my face too often and using way too many products for my own personal skin. I only wash my face at night now. I started a retinol treatment that you suggested but found doing it every other week works best for me. When I wear makeup I double wash and was surprised to discover how much I was missing the first time! I've been at this new skin care routine for a month and today I woke up with no active breakouts whatsoever. I have never since the age of 12 had no acne on my face. I feel free.

As always, top notch info from dr. Dray ❤ I have always wondered about resveratrol in skincare since in my country it's a pretty popular ingredient in anti aging supplement pills/juices and surprisingly in joint pain medicine. It makes a lot of sense to also be useful in skin care. Thank you for educating us!

Hi - a lad here! So I use it with CE Ferulic as in when I run out of C E Ferulic, I buy the Ordinary (resveratrol). When I finish the bottle of resveratrol, I then buy CE Ferulic coz it's expensive🤦🏻‍♂All female colleagues at work have been asking me about my skin lol and my skin care is so basic please don't laugh. AM: I don't cleanse... what for? I can't be bothered and I don't sleep with pigs so CE Ferulic or Resveratrol + SPF 50+ broad spectrum (La roche or nivea or garnier). PM: Cera Ve cleanser (hydrating one as it doesn't strip my skin) + tretinoin with B5 (prescription) + moisturiser from Cera Ve. That's all. Literally... Every single day 365. I'm so used to it now the whole thing takes minutes. Am I doing it right? I guess as I get a lot of compliments I'm a lad who's busy and all that so yeah :) and my skin looks great I guess lol

I've been using Replenix Triple AOX serum, which used to be called Power of Three Serum for about 25 years. It's green tea polyphenols, caffeine and resveratrol. I find it soothing and I just keep going back to it, even if I try other serums. Combining it with DNA repair serum now because I'm trying to prevent any further damage. At 62, I just had a squamous cell removed and am hoping this regimen also helps with that.

My current antioxidant morning cocktail serum ~~ so budget & skin friendly: 2 drops each of the Ordinary's: Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%, Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%, 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil, followed up with a light moisturizer or not ~~ and an SPF, not an option to skip. Perfection, for my skin currently. Various vit C serums and creams were not big hits with my skin, so thought I would try and simplify it for my skin ~~ been using this combo since January, daily, with zero adverse reactions. 54, not usually sensitive skin, but menopause can be a tricky journey ~~~ in so many aspects. As always, thank you Dr. D for laying out the facts, straight and to the point.

Smitha from Doha,Qatar. with the aim to age gracefully and guidance from your videos I started applying daily once TO Resveratrol 3% n Ferulic Acid 3% on cleansed moist face and then on top of it Purito's Sea Buckthorn Vital 70 Cream. Initial 2 to 3 weeks skin especially neck area was purging (red n inflammated) ..I didnt give up..I stopped applying over my neck area but continued applying on face...after 3rd week the irritations all gone and skin feels smooth n soft. Same as u mentioned..I use only 2-3 drop to cover my face..now I am enjoying applying it. Your videos are enlightening and love watching it. I follow them n always satisfied with using pdts of ur recommendations. Thanks .. #stayblessed XOXO

Been using The Ordinary resveratrol+ferulic acid for a while now, and I can definitely confirm it works wonderfully, at least on my skin (40, combination). I have noticed, too, that 3 drops are indeed enough to cover my face and neck, and the morning after I usually can see a difference already, with my skin looking smoother, a healthy glow to it, and feeling softer. No irritation whatsoever, though I am not the most sensitive kind of skin anyway. Would definitely recommend this product.

I’ve tried The Ordinary’s resveratrol serum. Unfortunately, I did find I developed some dermatitis after incorporating it into my routine for a few weeks. I had been using a retinol (the fragrance free Neutrogena one you’ve mentioned) for a month prior with no issue. I applied the resveratrol (sparingly!) in the morning and the retinol at night. I would like to give this one another try sometime, but I’m starting tretinoin soon so I’m going to allow for an adjustment period first before revisiting. I would love for this to work for me since I share your skepticism re: most vitamin C serums.

I am using at night but after Tretinoin before Niod Hydration Vaccine and Aesop Camellia Nut Hydrating Cream. Seriously helps on the dryness and redness of using Tretinoin.

I came here to know more about reaveratrol after I noticed it was part of my Agency prescription. Up till now i had never heard of it and was curious. Sounds like a powerhouse. Thank you Dr. Dray

Thank you dr dray. I just bought this! My hyperpigmentation didnt improve after hydroquinone, at least from what I noticed. I used timeless vitamin c but ended up with dry skin and more acne (could be from anything though). I also used a product by hado labo that had arbutin (cant recall if helped). Really excited to give this a go. Have a great day!

For the morning routine I’ll use the NIOD SDSM mist, use the mix-it-yourself drunk elephant c-firma and after allowing it to sink in, I’ll use the ordinary’s resveratrol followed by NIOD modulating glucosides, NIOD hydration vaccine, and then a mix of drunk elephant protini and the ordinary’s NMF, finally finishing with NIOD’s Survival 30 or the EU LRP anthelios spf 50. It’s a super nourishing, antioxidant rich routine that sounds like a lot now I’ve written it out but it doesn’t feel like it since one step is a mist and another is a mix. It feels so good and I feel I’ve great protection, especially as I’m also using tretinoin in the evening.

I really like it, I'm not using it right now, because I like to try products and ingredients and I miss it. I'm 45, I have hyperpimentation, acne prone skin and it's wonderful, brights my skin, hydrates, doesn't affect my acne. It's good

Hi, Dr Dray. I was at my local Walmart a few days ago and noticed something. I saw a daily multivitamin for beauty. On the label, it says it's a multivitamin + biotin + retinol. Can you do a video on that? Thank you so much for your videos! I've learned so much!
