Brava! To answer her closing question, clothes radically changed my life. This is an important message in a society that says if you connect your identity to clothes you are shallow and fake. Thank you!

I am just stumbling upon ( early internet jargon for seeing where each click takes me) . I am so delighted to find this gem. I love me some fact-based tools for success. Great information, well researched and, despite a little nervousness, well delivered. I have a story about a suit that I had "outgrown". It was a tiny, navy blue wool crepe designer interview suit, 100% Dress for Success :-) I sent it to NYC with a friend in hopes that someone could use it. The suit found her way to a brilliant woman working for a NFP. I was happy to later learn that the woman was ecstatic to have her first real suit and that the feeling inspired her to ask for a promotion. She got the job.

Mulan is Chinese and Kimonos are Japanese. However, I believe in your message 100%. Clothes do have power.

I get it. Very interesting. We all have to work more on our inner selves to avoid being slaves of our taught perception.

if you have strong enough control over your mindset you don't need the clothes special. its not like clothes have superpowers.

Is it sarcasm? Is it supposed to be funny or mean? I am not sure. I don't see anything wrong with this pairing. And I don't understand why this comment got 7 thumbs up...
