Hi Dr useful video I followed 16:8 fasting reduced 8 kg in five months after that even following the same pattern not reducing why? How to reduce 4 more kg?

Dr Pal, what i am finding is that in addition to what you said, also add "Eat Slowly" so that one would not go for a second serving and thus would have reduced eating more than required as well. The brain takes 20 minutes to register the food has gone to the stomach, so try to extend the eating till such time, enjoy the food by putting half the quantity of morsel into the mouth per spoon and enjoy the flavours slowly. I am seeing weight reduction by doing this in addition to Eating at an interval, Eating less caloriwise and Eating Slowly along with Exercise and Good sleep. Ah and one more thing, Eat only when getting to start hungry.

Dear Dr., I have been diagnosed with diabetes, hypertension, and hypothyroidism since the age of 35. Two years ago, my HbA1c was 8, and my weight was 88 kg, with a BMI over 35. After watching several of your KZbin videos, I began a diet that eliminated sugar, rice, and all types of wheat. Now, my fasting glucose is 85, and my thyroid and hypertension are normal. Weight - 105 Kg Height - 175 cm BMI - 34.5 Eating window - 8:30 am to 7:30 pm TDEE - 2466 I am trying to lose weight. I have reduced my caloric intake to around 1700 and walk a minimum of 10k steps every day and exercise on weekends. I have lost 5kg weight in last 5 weeks due to this and I will continue.

@@alisha8807 Hey, how are you measuring your calories? If you don’t calculate it properly and take approx measure than its not going to work. It’s my 2 month of doing diet with calories deficit on my own and have learned in this journey something i was not aware before

8pm to 8am(12 hours) is not even intermittent fasting(IF), you have to do at last 16hours for mild IF, 20 hours for good IF and best is omad(one meal a day)

Waist 104 cm Calories 1628 Eating window 1pm to 5pm I have lost 26lbs since April doing fasting (between 16 and 20 hours) and walking an hour a day. It really works! I don't count calories though, I just eat one nice meal a day with lots of protein and good fat.

The biggest problem in India is hospitality. We visit our relatives as guests and they serve us Pakoras, Samosas, Sweets etc. We can't even say "No" because they will force us to eat and we don't wanna hurt them by saying no.

....thats no excuse. What are you talking about? Just resist it and tell them that you are trying to lose weight, if you are really dedicated then you can easily do it. Its not like they're holding a gun to your head that you're calling it "the biggest problem in India". The problem is not hospitality, its your will power to lose weight.

So you visit your Relatives every single day and eat at your Relatives' place everyday? Do you? Just the way eating a healthy meal once in a full moon won't resolve health issues, the same way eating fried and sugary items once in a while won't create health issues.

Absolutely great videos that you make Dr. Pal! You have such a good sense of humor. I am so blessed to find your videos. Recently I have put in quite a bit of abdominal fat which is bothering me. I know it is all from stress and eating wrong to relieve my stress. I am looking forward to losing this belly fat. My BMI-22.6, TDEE-1,313, Eating window varies but I am going to practice the 12 hour fasting.

It’s nice to see an MD addressing the weight issue. It’s often the elephant in the room. I’m an RN and I am overweight (love my wine and Cheetos) I can’t believe how many times patients are discharged with instructions for pills for diabetes and or HTN but nothing about their obesity and eating habits. The American health system is based on pills to treat many illnesses that could be cured or lessened by a more healthy life style. Thank you for having “ the talk”.

Decrease 1 hour from dinner time and follow for 6 weeks. Gradually, you can adjust to ideal eating time 10 am to 6 pm

Hello pal...u r awesome macha....i was 92 kgs in dec 2019 with border diabetes and all sort of problems like liver problem, uric acid etc and by following 3 months of keto +time restricting food till Mar 2020 and then have been contiuing 45 mins running the time restricting feed 16:8 till date.Now i am 65 kgs and doing good.

@@satyasheela8194 sorry for your loss.For keto there was a diet chart which i bought online and followed for 3 months.if u want i will share.But for intermittent fasting which i am continuing there is no specific diet chart.only things like avoiding rice and having rice only once a week.remaining all days chappati,fruits,eggs for lunch and dinner -dosa,idle,soups,sandwich etc and avoiding all junk food and not doing snacking...

Dear pal I didn't find myfitnessapp app model what have shown in the video. I found many calorie calculator below this app title. Please help me to find the correct app. I am 54 years old. 86 kg height 165cm. As per TDEE my calorie requirement 2572. Appreciate your response with appropriated advise.

Thank you doc for such an informative and actionable video. I’m a woman, My waist is 189cms, BMI is 25.9, TDEE is 1574, eating window between 8am to 8pm. I’m 38yrs old. Due to sedentary lifestyle and I put on weight in last 1.5yrs start moving to the US. My eating habits have churned and I’m working to bring it back to healthy and mindful eating. I’m a vegetarian

Inspired by Dr. Paul's videos. My age 70 Height 5'3" Weight 78 kg. Vegetarian After following doctor's videos lost my weight from 86 kg to 78 kg. Had diabetics . HBA1C was 7.3. Now it is 6.3 . Stopped the diabetic medicine by our doctor. Had I been able to see these videos I would have got awareness and improved still in my health. Inspiring videos by the doctor for people like me. Good job!

This is very true. It is working for me. I lost 30 pounds since January and still losing. Initially, I was fatigue and starving but once I managed to cross 21 days, I got used to eating less food. Its tough at the start but once you see the change, you will get motivated. You need to be really patient to see the change.

@@mekashyamsunderloganathan6376 No. I live in the US. But I tried to stick to Indian diet everyday. I cut down on sugar completely. Dosa and Idli are my breakfast meals. I switch between Brown rice and white rice. Otherwise, I just have typical India diet each day.

@@harshinixi-a7299 I do a mix of workouts including HIIT, Aerobics and Strength Training (not too strenuous). I dedicate between 60 mins to 75 mins for workouts a day and I stick to doing workouts 5 days a week.

Hi.. I followed Dr Pals teaching and i lost 9 kgs in 2.5 mths. Followed the circadian rhythm method and reduced my carbs intake. More of salads and of course exercise. Thank you Dr Pal.. Very honest person
