Loads of respect to Dr. Pal for his humble nature and his openness towards non conventional medicines. Subah is one hell of a pretty girl with such a sweet voice. Didn’t ever think I could watch even the first part, when I saw the video lasted more than an hour, but I saw both part 1 and part 2 without ever feeling bored. Subah and Harsh are two gentle souls and you can immediately sense their positive vibes and compassion towards mother nature and animals. Am following their channel too but am still a bit skeptical about arsenic in most grains and especially whole rice, like red rice, brown rice etc. Satvik diet is obviously the most healthiest but we cannot avoid chemicals which are added to vegetables, fruits, grains etc. Also ghee was not discussed. Ghee is extremely healthy, like cold pressed coconut oil. Also intermittent fasting.. all points to see as sativik point of view.

I can seriously tell you that the Satvik food has a very positive impact on your mind. I have experienced this myself. You don’t need meditation to bring your mind in present. After a month this lifestyle will make you so calm that you begin to be in meditative state all the time. Energy level increases. Body and mind synchronise which in turn synchronises your soul with mind and body. This spiritual thing is absolutely right . I felt that. You don’t need any effort to reach that state. Following this lifestyle for a month is enough.

Lockdown in 2020 was a blessing in disguise for me. I changed my lifestyle within 3 months I lost 25 kg holistically & visibly with a help of healer. I was 98 kg earlier. Stopped medicine, consumed lot of lively foods. Presently i weigh 70 kg. So much of things I could connect and many things unfolded. Still so many things to adapt. Of course daily me and my wife are practising yoga 🧘 for 90 minutes. I liked Subha, saying Exercise should be a Celebration. Really we both are Celebrating Yoga daily. Hi Dr Pal, Thank you for this wonderful podcast, I couldn't resist myself commenting after watching these videos. Actually, when I randomly saw the thumbnail I was literally overwhelmed with joy because I was waiting for something like this, I came across satvic movement videos randomly and I got hooked to the videos but due to some personal time concerns, I couldn't follow those practices religiously. Same way I came across your video randomly and was very much interested in the topic related to the gut because I have also realized the importance of the gut and started practising the sunrise-to-sunset routine, shifting to vegetarian, with very little sugar intake. But I really wished that someone from the medicinal field should try to understand the concept of statvic movement so people feel more confident and start incorporating both practices based on today's busy life schedule. in today's world, nobody is trying to heal our own body but we are ready to spend a lot on processed food and more than that on medicines. if a person like Shuba or Harsh says something then there arises a lot of doubts on its veracity because they didn't add any "Dr " in front of their name. I also tried to follow the satvic movement practices but my entire family started questing me as I stopped non-veg, milk, dairy consumption etc and everyone was like you are doing rubbish things you will not have any energy, will be weak, there will be no protein etc and being a mallu (kerlaite) from a family non-veg is part of daily routine, it was really a hard thing to take the first step of being a vegetarian. Now I am really happy that some initiative like this will really help people to understand the value of true healing. Thank you so much...

For me personally the driving force for healthy eating and healthy living is two things. 1.Health is the most important thing for a happy life . Nothing can compensate the suffering diseases bring. 2.I would like to be there for my loved ones in my family and around me as a blessing for them and not as a burden as long as i live in this world. Healthy living starts from parents. Parents with youngchildren should be eating healthy and follow healthy life style and be an example for their children.

Also, none of the blue zones are completely vegetarian/vegan though they eat 'mostly' plant based food. Apart from their majorly plant based diet, they do eat seafood and less of red meat. That again validates Dr. Pal's 80% plant based diet as the most healthy and sustainable.

Satvik movement also does not tell you to avoid animal sources - We consume milk, yoghurt and ghee. We just choose the animal byproduct and not killing the animal itself which also serves the larger purpose of coexisting with humans and animals and showing every life form its respect for live.

@@bharamas1I share the same views as yours and totally agree with what you say regarding co-existence. Even I am a lacto- vegetarian for religious reasons. That doesn't mean that being a vegetarian is the 'healthiest' or that eating meat is 'unhealthy'. I have no problem with people encouraging vegetarianism out of love for animals or out of religious reasons. What I am against is saying that it is the 'healthiest' and that consumption of meat is 'unhealthy'. Religious leaders should not start giving health advice to people as the consequences of the same on public health is disastrous.

@@bharamas1 satvik movement don't use animal milk as milk is for calf, cows are artificially impregnated (raped) again and again to make them pregnant, then infront of them calf is used to suck the breast to start milking and then calf is detached and milking done for humans, the mother cow and calf are in agony while the adult human snaches the milk of baby calf for there curd, cheese and milk Thats why satvik movement always promote vegan milk Killing animal is bad but raping a cow again and again till her body gives up, giving her and her calf mental trauma of not having there milk for them and ultimately when cow cant become pregnant she is sold to slaughter house The worst life that any animal in animal kingdom can have is of cow

I must say one of the best discussion over health, healthy food and lifestyle. It had many best moments where Subah & Harsh both explained concepts with such a great analogy and philosophical way that fits perfectly. One of that is morning routine where Harsh explained and rsonated the morning routine with bow stretching and energy released from it. It shows how deeply their lifestyle has been affected by the healthy routine and lifestyle they have adopted to. Thaks for bringing this video.

Wow. Speechless at the wisdom of these two young people. Vigor to get out of bed and do my dharma. That is what I am looking for. Harsh - you hit the nail on the head: emotion while eating food overtake my desire to be healthy. My vices: occasional alcohol, cheese, occasional non veg and sweet dairy chai. My fruit and veg intake right now is 70%. The rest is above. I know my dharma. It is to enable a waste free world. Thank you all for inspiring me so so much. ❤ Dr. Pal I adore you, but your comedy parts were at times disturbing the flow of the conversation. Be funny, but don’t do it to feel ok about yourself.

Fascinated to see this trios! What ever the subzi, she saying it’s been a age old classic Indian traditional way of cooking and in , srilankan culture too. the things when catering and multi cusine migration process started people have started using oils, ghee’s butter etc and now this trend is all set. Only thing which I couldn’t understand is, if refined processed foods are bad, then why on earth it’s even produced? Why Govt, Dr. Associate, food inspectors, consumers audits review stopped this long ago? If tobacco, plastic, alcohol and meat are bad then why are they even produced on earth. Why No one taken action against these industries so long, looks like 100-200years would have been spoiled the common people.. Plant based food was followed in our traditions right from saints, siddhar, monks , it’s very pity that we forgot all Harsh is very grounded in explaining complex things in a simple ways by giving examples of dr.pal innate qualities .also his way of purposeful of life means a lot to all not only satvikpoint but origin by means

Harsh is explaining philosophy and not something grounded in physical world. The world need refined food, abnormal eating of refined food is bad for health.even when she talks about oil refined oil is bad because they due chemical but wat she didnt say is hexane is reextracted from the oil and in good quality company have no residue if hexane left.even tho doctor pal say meat is not important .if u compare bone reabsotption for broken bone in both veg and non veg ppl,non supplement increased ca reaborb is more in non veg compared to vegs. Closing out food refining factory is something not possible for a modern world which focused on speed.

That’s called the big pharma industry. It’s worse than mafia. They want more sick people to sell more medicines. Often longevity should not be taken into consideration but quality of life yes. Here in west, I have seen very old people, living of medicines, living a miserable life, unhappy and often depressed. Reason why they rightfully winded up the videos by saying what matters is not just lose weight or even live to 100, but have a goal which gives you happiness. Where you don’t have to necessarily eat by seeing another being suffer. Compassion, altruism, spirituality and happiness. We cannot control the big industry and pharma mafia, but if more people get right knowledge about healing by eating the right food, these big guys will eventually give up.

Dr. Pal, Harsh and Subah are doing an excellent job, yes. But to my mind, you are no less. Ok, you may not talk of bigger life purpose and Praan Shakti, etc, but what you are doing, you are doing damn well. Your core USP is to give a guiding light to many many like us, to bring awareness and improvement in gut health. And, with your innate charm and humour, you do that very very well. God bless you in abundance. ❤

Absolutely enjoyed the conversations between the great and mindful souls. So structured and natural it was for anyone to understand and get motivated to start the wellness journey from where we are now,....physically, mentally and spiritually. Everything seem to be so connected now. Just few questions I got while listening to this - 1) is fermented food considered satvik, it is supposed to help gut and also Vit B12? 2) if we eliminate milk products completely, won't there be any deficiencies? atleast for children we give milk products like panneer, curd etc...is that ok? Please let us know on these if at all you get to see this comment. Thank you so much Dr. Pal and Harsha and Subah! 🙂

The purpose of the human life's ultimate goal is to enlighten, not to enjoy the materialistic world. Going to temple and follow any religious practice will not enough to achieve your goal or enlightenment because none of the religion will not teach the right thing to enlightenment (you may learn the discipline etc.). Going to the holy places is just a first step, and you have to find your path to enlightenment.

Dr. Pal, You are very important person. You can be brand ambassador of healthy life working in US from India. Purpose is conditioning of what you are doing or have done. And purpose becomes alive when you get appreciation of the work you are doing, you are good at it and are able to grow meaning in are able to solve the problems and overcome. So slow living is kind of best life. Impractical in today's life. May be just go about what you are doing do not think much sedate overdose yourself and enjoy adrenaline rush of sports and die.
