According to the video, it is about how to look younger and healthier. Dr. Pal is interviewing celebrity nutritionist Ryan Fernando about his thoughts on how to achieve this. Here are some of the key points from the video: * People are eating too much processed food and using food as a way to deal with stress. * Sugar cravings can be caused by a lack of gut health. * Fruits contain sugar but it is natural sugar and not processed sugar which is the culprit in causing health problems. * Processed foods are full of unrecognizable ingredients. * One of the keys to aging slower is to listen to your gut. Your gut feeling will tell you if a food is right for you or not. * Organic food is better than non-organic food because it has fewer pesticides. * Probiotic foods are good for your gut health. Some examples of probiotic foods are kimchi, dosa batter, and yogurt. * Fermenting foods is a great way to increase the probiotic content of your diet.

I love the truth Dr Ryan revealed. This is correct and it applies to most of the people around me.. the line he said- “The food today is eaten too much as therapeutic balm” - exactly correct. We don’t feel hungry we just eat to sooth our depressions, mood swings or to show off that we can eat so much n stay thin (which is metabolism of one’s body) but it doesn’t need to be same with all. Or having food a medium to initiate a conversation between 2 ppl. Even when they are not hungry. Do not necessarily need to be..

and one dish is almost 1000 to 1500 calories even 2000 calories. Even if 2 people share a soup eat a starter and then have a main course gravy and with roti and share a biryani or rice they will eating more than their daily calorie intake. I am not even including dessert. Its not only portion control it about calories which are in the form of oil floating and cream and grated cheese.
@KingRisen-g1n9 ай бұрын
Yes its for 2 people or a Family, but One person many times will eat the entire Mega Portion in one sitting. As a good example if you were to buy a Chicken Biriyani the single portion size is massive, 3 or 4 pieces of chicken and a ton of rice, imagine one person eating the whole thing in 30 minutes or less with Raitha, I would eat half and the other half for dinner a twofer.

True. Being from a typical middle class family, I rarely gone to restaurants growing up. Cause it was outside food for us. But when i started my 9-5 job I also started to go to restaurant either alone or with my colleagues. And in the beginning I could never finish whatever meal I was ordering. Always had to ask to pack the remaining food so I could take it home. Initially I thought maybe I just have less appetite or lack of physical activity or something. But no I just figured out it's the big portion of meals that restaurant serves. I've stopped eating outside cause now I just wake up 45 minutes early to prepare tiffin. But whenever I go with my colleagues, I usually order medu Vada cause that's literally the only thing I can finish lol

My weight gradually came down to 61 in two yrs time as i walked regularly and breastfed my baby till two yrs. When i got pregnant with my second child my weight went upto 83kg. I had triple chin😂and used to get scared seeing myself in mirror. What i did is a bit funny. Three months after my delivery, i went to a textile showroom, bought an expensive dress for myself which was twice smaller than my then physique. I was determined, by the time my baby turned two yrs, i came back to 60kg and my dress was a perfect fit. Now i am at 45 yrs and still maintaining 59-60kg, with my height at 164cms.

So it was actually a quality time i enjoyed with my kids .I didn't depend on any one for my household chores either. So naturally my calories burnt out. But now iam super conscious with my diet. I have learnt to reverse my plate ...that is , more veggies/egg or fish and only a handful of rice.I stopped milk as it started creating issues for me so now i replaced milk with ragi.
