@JonHop1 Жыл бұрын
@@michaelgleason4791 I think thats being a bit harsh on Devon.. I think Devon gets peer-pressured into sending his cars too much at Bader's shop. That motor was not built to be a consistent 700whp.. Not even close. I think Devon overlooked some areas, not thinking he would push it that far right away, but that all went out the window at Baders lol.. Sadly, he destroyed the bottom end, but its not too big a deal, the top end is the expensive part. He can get a k24 short block for $500 and just rebuild it properly this time. He should really go all out for reliability and beef up everything.. Im talking, water-jacketed sleeves, upgraded timing chain kit and Crank timing gear from Drag Cartel. I forget what Valve Train he is running, but as long as he stays to like 8500rpm, a motor like that will last years at 700whp and be pretty much bullet proof as long as its tuned properly, fuel system is done properly.

“Only 21 pounds of boost.” This is a Honda. Not a 2JZ. Or 4G63. That is a shitload of boost. Yes it may be far theoretically less than the turbo system is capable of, burn that doesn’t mean it’s not a shitload of boost. We have been turbocharging Hondas since the 2000s. It’s not a mystery. All those parts should have been upgraded and the road to big power should have been slower. Literally just kept going until it blew up. Of course that is going to happen. Should have had a theoretical power limit drawn up from the parts you had what it could have made safely, and then left a bit of margin of safety there. You would right now be driving a badass car with “only” 480 at the wheels.

Im running 95% petrol and 5% Ethanol here in England. My 1.2 16valve Vauxhall Corsa absolutely loves it. Unfortunately i have serious rust starting and the guy at the MOT station said it would fail next year (August 2024). My dad always said never over rev your engine. He used to run a Vauxhall Chevette estate for several years. If you is gentle on the gas pedal you won't end up looking a complete idiot. My mum loves going out in the Corsa and she is 82 years old. The body work of the Corsa has several dents where youths have attacked it over the years. The engine is very sweet with only 38,000 miles and i change the oil and filter myself. Listen up and go easy with that accelerator pedal if you want your car to last.😊

I've broken enough timing belts to know that that is the sound of Cam's not working in line with the crank. I'm at the part where you're pulling out plugs and I'm going to guess that it broke the timing tensioner or the chain. Probably bent all the valves
