Hi Steve, I don't know. If it has the same engine good chance it has the same ECU and if so the answer is yes. If someone can supply a bike we'll find out pretty quickly

Legally you are meant to tell the governing, body in my case that's Vic roads

@@Dynobike1992 In NZ the dealers will tell you it is illegal to derestrict LAMs or A2 bikes. They want to sell you another larger bike. Same gig as Australia. From what I can work out it is not illegal at all. You just nee a full licence to ride the bike. I am working with NZTA to try and resolve the law right now. I would like them to make a clarifying policy statement. Look a flying pig!

@@paulconnell1309 It is illegal to ride a non restricted or un restricted bike on any public road or HWY in Australia. It is legal to remove lams restrictions as long as the owner understands his or her legal requirement. Many riders may wish to use them for track days, race days or in an enviroment where the bike is not subject to road regulations. As long as the bike meets legal requirements for road use and the owner has informed the appropiate authority that their bike is no longer a lams bike and has had it struck from the national lams register then it can be ridden on the road by anyone who has the correct licence. I think that clears it up for Australia, be careful what you ask for.............

Pretty easy to do yourself with tuneecu and flashing a new map based on the unrestricted International electronic throttle values , if your not technically minded the definitely pay for the service offered by these guys. Highly recommended on the trident totally changed the character of the bikes power without making it a over the top sports bike, feels like you can ride it hard and push it without doing stupid instant loss of license speeds while keeping a ear to ear grin on your face.

If I buy a derestricted triple S, can you guys put the restriction back? I’m not fascinated about such power but more concern about to be on road legally. If so, how much would it cost to revert it back to the restricted mode. Thanks
