I can eat kimchi jiggae any time of the day! It has a different spiciness. It tastes spicy, not just feel spicy if you know what I mean. I only made it with canned fish but I now need to make it with faaaatty pork. 😋

I love to add one can of sliced water chestnuts to my jjigae. It adds such a great crunch.

@@chubster71 That is great that u have a supplemental ingredient that u like adding to kimchi jjigae. Generally, water chestnuts are not used in Korean cooking. It is more commonly used in Chinese cuisines.

@@lovewillwinnn Hi👋 YES, you are correct. The last T is a silent T. What can I say, Americans (not all) are experts at butchering French pronunciations, as they do with English🤣. I guess, growing up reading Bon Appétit magazine, I just read it as English pronunciation and it stuck with me🤷♀️. Anyhow, thanks for the reminder.
