One of my neighbors was evicted because the wife took time off from work to have a baby and then they got behind in rent. Vance has spoken multiple times about women being "natural" mothers and made his position of abortion rather clear. Alongside his beliefs in general, it's not hard to understand that he thinks woman's main purpose in life is having and taking care of children. But not everyone wants or has the opportunity to properly raise children.

As a “senior” woman, I am very concerned that the problem is not that Harris is the better candidate compared to trump, but that as a woman she faces an uphill battle due to the men of my generation still believing women are inferior, and incapable of being president. No amount of logic will convince them otherwise. I’ve been fighting against this my whole life. Its so frustrating and makes me sad. As a rule, these are the same people who believe that when a group gets “equal” opportunity, they personally lose an advantage.

My grandson voted for the first time, he had to fight to get a ballot because his ID has a new address but he wasn’t changed on the voter registration. He voted for Harris early too. Count us in!

They should introduce 'negative voting'. Where if you don't like either candidate - you can vote against the one that you dislike more. I think negative sentiment towards a candidate should count just as much as positive. You can hate trump and not like Kamala, there should be a voting option for those people. Actually, that's kind of what a preferential voting system is. In that system - you can endorse a preferred candidate who suits your values, but wont win, but still effectively give your vote to the lesser of two evils.

Starting in grade school? How many first graders do you know who are interested in politics? Children have other things they need to be learning at elementary school age, like reading, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, English grammar and spelling. There are a number of polling types that are fighting the notion that the race is tied. This is largely due to the fact that those being polled do not include tons of women who are newly registered and others who are not included. It also is true that some of the polls favor Trump. In fact, there is actually a review that says Kamala may even win this by a landslide. Pennsylvania's early voting favors her almost 3 to 1.

As a Mexican with many types of relatives in the US, I can see their "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" philosophy is what made many of them gravitate towards the Republican party in the first place. The truth of the matter is that Mexico has always "sent" their best people to the US. The Democrats would do better with them, acknowledging this fact and focusing their message to them in explaining that the safety net doesn't mean "socialism" and that the caring for minorities doesn't mean affecting the self gained prosperity of those who already got there (to prosperity) by their own effort. There is definitely something going on different than 2020. I live in a red area of a lean-red state. In 2020, Trump signs and flags everywhere and literally just 3 Biden signs. This year, there is less Trump signs, no big banners or big flags and and there are almost as many Harris/Walz signs as there are Trump signs in my small town.

In 2016 I saw hardly any Hillary signs, but a fair amount of tRumph. In 2020 I saw some Biden and slightly less tRumph signs than 2016. This year I'm seeing lots of Harris signs (5 just on my block). In general I'd say the proportions are about 3 or 4 to one, Harris to tRumph. I know this isn't scientific & just observational. I live near Denver. I took a 3 mile walk through Denver & saw 17 Harris signs 0 tRumph. It's way different from the previous election from what I can see. Some of the tRumph flags I've seen look pretty old & beat up. They're just hauling them out again. Probably broke from all the grifting!

They are not hearing what they want to hear. That is on Kamala too for not providing a populist plan. You want votes, propose medicare for all. Too much, universal childcare. Still too costly, universal parental leave. Heck at least universal school lunches. These are policies that move the needle and actually help with every American's finances. What she has proposed so far outside of medicare covering home care are bandages to structural problems that is very targeted to very specific people, most won't be positively affected by it. That is why voters kept saying they need to hear more cause most of what she has said don't apply to them.
