Yahoo Entertainment has reunited the cast of "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo," the 1984 cult classic that spawned a million punchlines.
Stars Adolfo "Shabba-Doo" Quinones (Ozone), Michael "Boogaloo Shrimp" Chambers (Turbo), and Lucinda Dickey (Kelly) were joined by "Electric Boogaloo" director Sam Firstenberg and editor Marcus Manton to discuss how they came aboard the "Breakin'" franchise, how they perceive the critical backlash that is still leveled at the sequel, and if we can expect a third "Boogaloo" (fingers crossed).

Rest in peace Adolfo “Shabba-Doo” Quinones. Wish we could have got Breakin' 3 with you. It was not to be. I'm grateful for what we got from you while you were here. You lived and became an Icon around the world. You lived in that rarified air. You did the dang thing.

It's unbelievable that they did this right before he passed. So glad they did. And yes, he looked very healthy. And very handsome. Heartbreaking bc he was so passionate about spreading love to kids about dance and using that as a tool to deal with all the BS. Music, laughter and dance are truly the best medicine. Also loved what Shrimp said about us all dancing to the same beat. Maybe it's bc I was just a kid (and so was he) but it did seem like we didn't have as many problems in the 80s. Best decade ever.

Think about it Lucinda Dickey is 60 years old. In societal Outlook, she is a 60 year old white woman that's walking around out there around people and these folks are not knowing that this woman is a hip hop cultural icon in their random everyday presence. Lucinda Dickey will always have a residence in Hip Hop culture with two Breakin movies!! To me personally I think that's real interesting and intriguing. You just never know who you are passing back and forth with. I guarantee she has more hip hop cultural connections with Legends then 80% of these so-called hip-hop people now today. I'm Glad to see her. She was a fox back then and she is even more of a fox now.

Sick, Sick, Sick and now Sicker to hear that he was in the works for Breakin 3. I can`t believe he is gone. I loved that man Adolfo Quinones for so long. All my friends from the 80`s knew how much I loved him so they keep sending me videos of interviews with him. As a Break dancer myself in the 80`s I named myself Shabba-Daa. He was my crush from puberty that lasted for many years in my 20's. Now as a middle-aged woman it brings up all of my youth and how much he was a part of me and how special he still is to me. His passing has flooded my mind all that is him and how insane I was for him. After so many decades this hurts and I will grieve for some time about my Shabba-Doo. I`m not gonna write all that I felt after an interview I watched before this one when it was just him talking. Rest Easy King...a job well done! I`ll love you FOREVER! So heartbreaking to see this conference chat 6 months since I saw it live. Adolfo really made the third film sound so intriguing with transitioning from the first two films into present day, mellowing with age and in a realistic setting with dance relating to present times. I am still incredibly shocked at the passing of Adolfo and his Shabba Doo persona had such power and intensity. He really could dance and all the people in the chat really made the two films so enjoyable to me. It was such a shame that the cast didn't make that third and now with the passing of Adolfo, we can appreciate what he brought to us in the films that he did. Lucinda, Michael and Adolfo really had such a positive and wonderful chemistry together and all looked so great in this chat. Very sad time for movie and dance fans. Stay safe everyone.

Just wanted to pay my respects to Adolfo Shabba Doo. I was looking through some news and found out he died and it was so unbelievable. I thought about how he just did this reunion and sharing his memories with his other cast members and even the possibility of another film. It's heartbreaking tbh, especially for a man that still looked so well for his age. Breakin will forever be a love in my heart as a kid from the 80s era and having movies like this, Crush Groove and Beat Street to name a few. They empathize an era and culture of the time and still brings memories even after they were made... Not every film can do that, but they did. THANK YOU ADOLFO! Thank you for all you did for the industry... In front and behind the cameras. RIP...

To this day you guys are a legend I saw your movie "Breakin" in the theater in Guadalajara Jalisco México back in 1984 my friends and me went 4 times to watch the moves to practice and dance it was a great time that these great performers gave to us all a gret time era and everywhere you go I saw many teenagers doing "Breakin" Poppin Locking and believe me it was a hit and you guys are part of the 80's legends...

So very happily elated that this magnificent reunion was reconnected, this is very heartwarming and endearing but now that the passing of Shabba-Doo has come about it is so very saddening to accept, but I am very happy that this both Breakin and Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo happened within my lifetime, thanks everyone, love you all and rest in peace Adolfo Shabba-Doo Quinones ❤️❤️❤️🙏✝️

I was 15yrs at the time and fell in love with the cast of this movie. Sorry, I am biased towards Shabadoo 1st, then Boogaloo Shrimp, and Lucinda Dickey! Break dancing, popping locking, and scratching everyone said it was a flash in the pan but I knew from the get go it was REVOLUTIONARY! Music calls to you and transcends all borders! You feel it! Icons, that's what they are to me because it has no race, creed, or color. You feel it in your bones! "Beat street"
