Elle goes to USC to learn game design So she'll spend her entire life behind a desk unwrapping UVWs, connecting vertices and writing literal pages in C++ only to get a glitch for the 77th time. I mean, CGI and game desing is a great and beautyful thing (i work in CG myself and I love it) but Elle never even showed any kind of affinity towards computers and such. If you need a movie to review, check out A Sound of Thunder. It had everything going for it -- a good cast, a name director, and it was based on a classic Ray Bradbury short story. But it has an amazing production-hell backstory and turned out so awful that it has to be seen to be believed.

Movie recs (all incredibly well-made, but tragic): Hard Candy (this movie goes in a drastically different direction than what the beginning sets up- don't be too discouraged/grossed out by the start of it); Mary and Max; Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri; Harold and Maude (quirky dark comedy from the 70s that Kevin Smith loves); Come and See (quite literally the best movie ever made. Elem Klimov, the director, completely stopped making films after Come and See because he knew he couldn't outdo it. Also, the whole thing is on KZbin! The Criterion release is obviously nicer).
