It really doesn't make sense, either. The DMs are the ones in charge of the game, they're like Gods that design the environment, other people the characters interact with,, monsters, etc. Realistically, Binder (Sweet Jesus, that name is terrible) could just join a campaign and that DM can make a Princess NPC for his character. But I know he's actually referring to not being able to get a real girlfriend, which is where this scripted line falls apart.

I feel like if the teacher turned out to be Smiley then the killer would've had a bit more motive, like: the teacher was obsessed with the meaning of life and talking about nihilism and all that. So wouldn't it make sense then if you took the classroom scenes as a way to foreshadow that the teacher is the killer and his motive is his dislike of the younger generation's apparent apathy towards life. All the talk about particles and computers in ones mind could've been used as a means to explain Smiley's ability to appear out of nowhere, perhaps the teacher figured out a means of teleportation via computers? But as he believes everyone will kill each other before these cool things can be invented, wouldn't it make sense that he'd use it to fulfill an ironic justice upon the younger generation by killing for the lulz? So, to fix this movie: make the teacher the villain with a twisted sense of respect for life, he believes the younger generation is too flippant and uncaring, therefore undeserving of life. After discovering a means to teleport through computers at will, he becomes Smiley, and begins his slaughter. He becomes obsessed with the main character because she appears to have a like mind opinion on the world, but things and events happen that eventually lead to the discovery of Smiley's identity, the main character tries to kill him as in the original movie, but is thrown out the window, Smiley leaves believing she is dead, but she's alive and the second movie could be about her taking revenge (you can also keep the cops not believing her, as there is no proof of forced entry into the buildings/homes of the murdered and the Smiley cases are chalked up as a part of a suicide challenge or something of the like, which can be used to reference another way the younger generation is seen as behaving with no respect for life by the teacher)

Welcome to the land of unbridled nepotism. Why do you think Hollywood is so fucked up? People in general have not become less talented and creative, the tribe of Hollywood trust fund losers have cemented themselves into positions where they will never be removed. They have zero talent or redeeming qualities, but they were born into it and decide what gets made, who stars in it, and what "trends" become mainstream. The entire industry is spiritually/morally/creatively bankrupt. The only thing to do is never support them. Stopping the flow of money is the only hope to right the ship and have things organically correct themselves.

I don’t know the whole context of the “she was sexy” line, so I could be completely wrong, but could he have meant that she was *sexualized* instead of *sexy*? Could’ve been a Freudian slip
