I really respect and admire you not wanting to seek out new/alternative treatments abroad Emily. I am a doctor and I have seen too many people with cancer preoccupied with all of the organisation and fundraising that goes with seeking treatments abroad, often having been promised unrealistic results. So much so that they tend to not live life day to day or just enjoy themselves. You go out and continue smashing life because you're doing a pretty damn great job. xx

At 6:46, such wisdom from someone so young. If you watch nothing else from Emily, fast forward to that point and watch what she had to say. That she is gone is a huge loss to the world. Look at what she accomplished. I wish she'd had the time to accomplish even more. Such a bright light in the world; we were lucky she was here at all -- have to remember that.

Truly the perfect response; so tactful, heartfelt but to-the-point. It's all the reasons to love Emily summarised in just a few minutes. I could see she was frustrated despite being grateful for the offers, yet she handled it so well. Such grace.

brilliant at breakfast - You are so spot on. Emily had such wisdom as someone so young. She had an old soul. Her loss is still felt to this very day. The world was indeed a much kinder, tender, funnier, caring, compassionate, gentle, hopeful, and loving place with Emily in it. She truly does live on within each of us, always a heartbeat away. I have no doubt that Emily is shining brightly upon each of us - wherever she may be - her light can never be dimmed. Emily will shine on, always and forever. 🙏💗🙏💗🙏💗

I am a 60 year old woman, wife of 33 years and a mother of three adult disabled children. Your vlog has really impacted me! I lost my dad when I was 17 years old from lung cancer and I miss him every day! Since 2000, our family has had my son and husband diagnosed with a progressive neuromuscular disease and then our two daughters were diagnosed a couple years later! When you get news like that, you feel like you’ve been kicked in the gut! Even worse to watch my very active kids, slowly lose their ability to do things they used to be able to do! I have always told my kids to not dwell on their disease and the things they no longer can do, but concentrate on what the can still do! In addition to remember that there are always other people worse off and that they should not feel sorry for themselves. You have encouraged me to take them out ( with 2 scooters and a power wheelchair), to make memories and to embrace life! I have to say, we only recently got the scooters for our girls and so anything requiring any amount of walking was pretty much out. We are going to go and do things, make memories as life is short and none of us know when our time on this earth is done! Thank you for sharing your story! Emily was so very courageous and she fought for every moment! Aisha, you were such a rock for her, I know she loved you very much and you made her so, so happy! You were an amazing couple and the vlogs will continue to inspire people to treasure every moment, to make memories with family and friends and live everyday to the fullest! Praying for you, your family, Emily’s family and all of your friends! I know this loss is so new, fresh and extremely painful, but know that their are thousands upon thousands of people who care deeply for all of you and are praying for you! Emily will always be with you, watching over you, may you find joy and happiness again and may God Bless You! ♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇♥️🙏🏻😇

Aisha: Why have no easter eggs gone on sale? Emily: I don't know. The speed of that exchange was hilarious and just really conveyed the mood of this part of the vlog perfectly. Also, word to Emily's response to all the charity comments. Clearly frustrating to not get much normal support in that video, but she graciously handled it like a pro. Cos she was a pro. Love to Aisha.

You ladies are the best. Your attitude is amazing. My dad, is where you are, terminally ill with melanoma spread to lungs, liver and kidney. His prognosis 2 years ago was 3 - 6 months. He was just having the usual treatment but has stopped due to side effects. And he is like you Em, he is living life fully and with vigor (with some limitations) and that’s the difference. You are living with terminal cancer, not dying with terminal cancer. The truth is everyone of us is “terminal” so be like Em, don’t take a single day for granted and love, live and give always. Love from Australia.

Doctors are wrong. You can live and cure cancer and cancer tumours. Go plant-based. Sugar feeds on cancer. Check out Dr Gregger how not to die. A girl cured her tumours by putting francensice oil under her tongue every day. They got smaller and disappeared. The truth about cancer is that there has always been a cure something doctors will not tell you as cancer is a money making business. Eat super healthy veg and fruit and juice a lot raw juicing is good for curing. My friend cured her ovarian cancer when doctors gave her no hope she changed her diet went vegan and beat it.

Jessica please do not give out medical advice that isn't well studied and proven, particularly when it comes to issues such as cancer. I am sure Lewis has looked at and tried everything suitable, saying cancer can be cured through a simple oil undermines all the efforts our scientists do to try find a cure.

Rawrzee I think maybe people like Jessica believe the way they do because they want to think that if cancer happened to them they could cure it with a secret oil or "hidden" cure. Maybe it makes them less afraid and feel more in control. It would be wonderful if there was a miracle cure. Sadly, far too often we aren't in control when it comes to cancer.

As someone who has been through the pain and trials of serious chemo, I completely get you about living your life and focusing on the good things. I am much older than you at 45, but I have learned first with my chemo experience and now with lupus, that you are 100% right about making yourself get up and move and do things instead of just resting. Yes, sometimes you do need to just rest, but on those days when the fatigue is horrible and the body pain is just above annoying but just below "I cant move it hurts", those are the days I have to get up and do things. It may not make it hurt less, but it makes me focus less on it and that by itself turns the dial down on the pain. Keep on doing what you're doing Emily. Aisha is sunshine personified, and you are a bright white star.

I recently came across peewee Tom's and Emily's channel. And I cant believe what I'm seeing. The courage I have seen in all the clips I have watched has taken my breath away! I didn't know humans could be as strong as what i have seen on these two channels. I feel awful to say this but I cant subscribe. The reason why is because it effects me so much mentally seeing someone go threw what they have done that it stays in my mind all day and night and actually keeps me awake at night. I actually had to make a promise to myself to stop watching these channels but everytime I come on KZbin either peewee Tom's or Emily's face is there and I cant help but watch. I can genuinely say I have cried about the most stupid things and these people who have faced death didn't even moan once! I have a son who is paralysed and will never walk. Hes 4 years old. I have had the slap in the face I needed to realise that he doesnt have the worst thing in the world. He has life and the fact he has life makes me the luckiest person in the world. I will never forget the things I've seen on KZbin ever. I just hope Emily and Dan and anyone for that matter who has ever filmed their journey so intimately knows how much it will help someone going threw the same thing. Seeing someone face what they faced with such courage will help people more than they will ever know. Sometimes if I'm In a bad mood or just feeling a bit ill with a cold or something stupid I find it an effort to just send a text but emily and dan found a strength from somewhere to somehow threw their pain edit and film clips just to benefit others whilst they were going threw hell. Just amazes me.

The reason i suggested it is for the simple reason i and many others would be over the moon to be able to help you get a chance at other treatment to give you the chance you most definatly deserve. If it could cure you or give you many more years with aisha then it would be worth it. We all want whats best for you and we are all hoping you find the right cure xxx 🍀🍀🍀🍀.

Tracey Daniels I think what she was also meaning with that suggestion is, if she only has a few months left, she just wants to feel as normal and comfortable as possible. She might not want to leave her friends and family to try something that could have negative side effects and not work. It would be a terrible decision which could stress her body and mind out, making her worse off. As heartbreaking as it will be if she does go, atleast she's living her life exactly how she wants to❤

So many people set up go fund me pages for much less significant things. But we have to respect her decision and I think if she feels best living life as normally as possible then she should be able to. She’s taught me that I can work out and go about my life with happiness even with my cancer. And I guess we should be happy they’re at least setting up a P.O. Box to let us send stuff 😉💜

Kudos ladies. It's so refreshing to hear guys say that they don't need money from others to make their lives happier. You are all the richer for having each other. Love? Priceless. Also good to know that there are tons out here ready to jump up to help if ever the need arose. Huge hugs to you both x

The doctors found a tumor after several hospital and emergency room visits. It turned out to be benign. However, I know now what it feels like to hear the words "you might have cancer" coming out from your surgeon's mouth. I can't imagine how horrible it must be to hear "you have cancer". I can still understand how life changing that word is. For several days until I got the results, I felt like I was a walking dead. I can fully understand Emily when she was talking about trying to hold on to the smallest things in life, like just enjoying the day. I don't even know how she did it for so many years.

Thank you for your positivity Emily. I know you probably will not see this comment and I’m not going through half of the upset and hard times you must be going through but I have severe anxiety, panic attacks and have suffered from depression and your positivity makes me feel like I need to give myself a kick up the bum and try harder, so Thank you.

I feel in life that there is that someone we are supposed to meet (even over the internet) that will impact our lives for the better and you have done that and more! Love you and Aisha and if anyone can kick cancer’s ass it will be you!

If I, a stranger feel such a loss at Emily no longer being here I can't even comprehend what Aisha and Emily's family must be going through, that a beautiful, kind, thoughtful girl should be taken so soon is cruel.

Aisha is magic: beautiful, makes pasta bakes & she has an amazing fiancee. As for what's next: of course you're both anxious. But judging from this video: Monday & Tuesday were good, you're both strong & your onco team is the bomb. Love from Atlanta.

Diane Barron Sorry but I cannot stand comments like this. I understand needing to stay positive and remain hopeful, but Doctors are Doctors for a reason. Why else do you think they spend half of their lives in school? Don’t tell people to not listen to Doctors, because while we may hate to admit it, they know what they’re talking about.
@dianebarron8362

Turtle, you obviously don't know that pharmaceutical companies own Doctors and they are not allowed to think on their own or choose their own cures of choice, if a Dr. veers from a said instructed pharmaceutical book cure they will loose their licence and yes they are really pissed off when after all of that school and money they are watched like a hawk and reprimanded if they veer from treatment book and since it is a profit GAME for drug co's they don't cure anything they will at best manage an illness , and Turtle I personally do not give Doctors power over God sorry
