Watching this again, July 2019. Oh darling, sweet, brave Em…… so happy that you managed to live your life to the fullest. 2 months after this vid she was dead, but at least she didn't get sick on the outside if that makes sense, like having seizures or extreme nausea etc as she then would have felt weak and have to be in hospital for her final few weeks.... I know at one point her doctor and the nurses said she was a miracle.... they knew she was coming to the end, they must have. They saw her scans, they knew things were really bad and they couldn't believe she was still so full of vitality and sheer Life Force. I imagine if Emily had gone into remission and lived for many years..... I think she would have been a motivational speaker, going to talk to people fighting this godawful disease perhaps. We will never know. I'll always love and miss you darling, I hope you're in a happy place. Peace xxx

I am watching from Canada, after coming across your channel about a month ago. It is your bright energy and absolutely contagious optimism that keeps me watching. As a nurse for 44 years working mostly in critical care from the aged to premies, I’ve seen so much and I am grateful to have been a part of it all. The rewards have been huge, but so have been the heartaches. I have experienced the entire spectrum of how people cope with whatever their journey of illness or trauma happened to be, severe, minimal, life-altering, terminal. There were very few over those 44 years who could hold a candle to you. I recognize that everyone’s journeys and their needs on those journeys are vastly different, and I respect each and every person’s response, but you are that rare treasure who can see and celebrate those evasive nuggets of pleasure despite your pain and fears. We are so fortunate to be able to share them with you. I know you have your moments, but know that we’d share them with you and comfort you in whatever small way we could. However, I don’t think that is what this video diary’s focus is all about. Your selflessness is remarkable, and your strength amazing. You are that rare gem who can see way beyond yourself, a very rare attribute indeed. God bless you and Aisha.

When I was an oncology nurse, and a palliative care volunteer visiter, I always tried to tell family, and friends that it wasn't always depressing, and sad when hanging with cancer patients! I’m a 7 year Melanoma survivor. Mine started as yours did, a mole. Then a year later it spread to my right lung. I had the upper right lobe of my lung removed then it spread to my pancreas, gallbladder and all throughout my stomach. I went on interferon but it was too toxic. I then got into a clinical trial in 2012, Zelboraf and Cotellic. It is now FDA approved treatment. It has killed all of my cancer tumors and kept them at bay for going on 8 years. I am BRAF positive, that’s what this treatment has been successful in treating. I know your docs have probably researched all of this but i wanted to share it with you, any treatment is worth a try. I watch your vlog daily and pray for you. Your love for life is inspiring. I get it. Until you’re faced with this beast, you can’t truly appreciate life and understand what’s really important. My mantra is live and recognize every moment as precious! Every tiny moment, even the ones that seem so small, every moment is a gift. God bless you!

Having seen and nursed my father in law who had pancreatic cancer you are doing bloody fantastic. I think well I know because you feed your body right and continue with exercise it has made you stronger and able to fight the cancer. A friend of mines hubby was diagnosed with a mass on his brain a brain tumor. He died with in 4 weeks of knowing. You are doing so well and with your wifes help you will continue to do so.
