I’m a 7 year Melanoma survivor. Mine started as yours did, a mole. Then a year later it spread to my right lung. I had the upper right lobe of my lung removed then it spread to my pancreas, gallbladder and all throughout my stomach. I went on interferon but it was too toxic. I then got into a clinical trial in 2012, Zelboraf and Cotellic. It is now FDA approved treatment. It has killed all of my cancer tumors and kept them at bay for going on 8 years. I am BRAF positive, that’s what this treatment has been successful in treating. I know your docs have probably researched all of this but i wanted to share it with you, any treatment is worth a try. I watch your vlog daily and pray for you. Your love for life is inspiring. I get it. Until you’re faced with this beast, you can’t truly appreciate life and understand what’s really important. My mantra is live and recognize every moment as precious! Every tiny moment, even the ones that seem so small, every moment is a gift. God bless you!

Watching this again, July 2019. Oh darling, sweet, brave Em…… so happy that you managed to live your life to the fullest. 2 months after this vid she was dead, but at least she didn't get sick on the outside if that makes sense, like having seizures or extreme nausea etc as she then would have felt weak and have to be in hospital for her final few weeks.... I know at one point her doctor and the nurses said she was a miracle.... they knew she was coming to the end, they must have. They saw her scans, they knew things were really bad and they couldn't believe she was still so full of vitality and sheer Life Force. I imagine if Emily had gone into remission and lived for many years..... I think she would have been a motivational speaker, going to talk to people fighting this godawful disease perhaps. We will never know. I'll always love and miss you darling, I hope you're in a happy place. Peace xxx

With my disease, when t flairs they put a steroid pump in me. At least three times from the gentlest of weening I've been rushed to the ER. Its REALLY hard to get off. Just know u are not crazy, and don't prolong it. If you can, ween by half weekly...they are so damaging to our health in the long run, especially for the eyes and u already have sights issues ...ok I will shut up. Good luck Em...you can get off of roids. Just remember every other thing you've overcome

For anyone reading this who is suffering cancer or has a loved one with cancer- please, please know there is a huge connection with ingesting animal proteins (found in cheese, meat, protein shakes and all sorts of processed foods) and cancer. The best thing you can do if you have cancer is to not ingest ANY animal proteins or ANY processed foods, and engage in some sort of fasting behavior. Why? Autophagy. The 2016 Nobel Prize in Medicine went to a researcher studying autophagy. Your body's best defense against any sort of illness will be activated with fasting. Age and genes pay strong roles in cancer development. It is rarer for younger people to get cancer, it is true. Sadly, in Emily's case, she most likely had genetics that predisposed her to cancer (or she was exposed to severe environmental toxins). If you you have genes that predispose you to cancer, that does not mean getting cancer is inevitable. It means that you cannot mess around with eating processed foods and animal proteins. They are inappropriate for our species and it will shorten your lifespan. Do not take my word for it. Research my claims. The best thing we can do to honor Emily's memory is to spread awareness about cancer treatment and prevention. I so wish I could have met her a few years ago and reached her. Check out Chris Beat Cancer and all of the testimonies he shares about other cancer survivors.
