On top most people show their best side, when starting to date. But in the end it should be obvious, that if you portray yourself in a way, that is totally different from who you really are and what you want in life, that you'd either have to keep up the act indefinitely or confront the other person with the truth. I feel it IS relevant for Ops case. Why can't she get one? Cos privacy laws are too lax or at least the ones for repercussions of breaking them, and it seems like the only option is rather invasive where a couple of pills should do the job if found early enough. By text book definition a pregnancy is a nine month long parasitic infection, every cell being built from the mother, stealing calcium from her bones, blood, water and nutrients from her. Some will consider this a blessing, nurturing new life to be doted on, others... Not so much. He could use his power to find medical information she doesn't want to share, and shouldn't have to share. Naturally, accidental pregnancy do occur, but it's fishy that she was so adamant against that (so likely took her meds correctly) and that he was so happy without checking to see how she felt first. A friend told me he lost weight and before I fully congratulated him I confirmed it was intentional and healthy (it was) so I can't even imagine being someones partner and being happy over an unwanted pregnancy without discussing if that's what they want.

13:34 Little dude likely has ASPD or another personality disorder. Killing animals, especially cats for some reason, is a textbook step in developing the urge to seriously injure and/or kill someone. It may not happen of course, but these kids more often than not end up hurting someone because people don’t help them, and causing harm is a way to feel a sense of excitement. Really hope the psych referred him to someone with more experience and supported him, no matter his actions. If a psych cannot put aside their thoughts and feelings in order to help someone, they are not ready to be handling such high impact cases. Side note: maybe a reason it’s specifically cats is because they’re less likely to ‘listen’? If you call a dog they come over, but cats almost always ‘defy’ humans and do things at their own pace, and people exhibiting those behaviours are often starving for a sense of control and rebel when it isn’t afforded. Just a theory though 🤷

I was always heavy as a kid, sometimes very fat, and I was always hurt by fat jokes, even when they weren't specifically directed at me. Any time someone would make a comment about fat people, it felt to me that I had suddenly become the focus of attention. As I grew older, after much self analysis and soul searching, I came to the conclusion that the only reason that I was so offended by those comments was because I was so uncomfortable with myself. I began to ask myself what was good and positive about me, and whether others' opinion of me were more important than my own opinion of myself. I looked deep, and I found many things that I didn't like about myself that I had more control over. (I like food and I've never been particularly interested in physical activity.) I worked hard to determine the root causes of my negative traits and finding out how I could improve those things and strengthen my self opinion. I was more or less successful, and the things that I ultimately could not overcome became less important, because my self esteem improved just knowing that I could control certain things that really bothered me about myself. I became a better, stronger person, less self conscious and much less negative about myself overall. I stopped comparing myself to others and began comparing me to me. I decided that overall, even though I'm as flawed as any other human, I'm a pretty decent guy. I'm not trying to impress anyone or prove anything to anyone. If you think I'm full of it or stupid or whatever, I accept that. I no longer live to fulfill other people's expectations, just my own. I respect your opinion, but it won't change my opinion of myself. I'm typing this word vomit in hopes that someone who is struggling with the same issues that I did will read this and recognize that they are the only ones with the power to change their own opinion of themselves and can live a happier, more fulfilling life. Good luck, I'm pulling for you. Peace.

Button batteries are not a good thing for a kid to swallow. It's why they are being banned in a lot of children's toys. Stomach acid, along with saliva, causing an electrolytic reaction which can produce caustic substances such as sodium hydroxide. Such tissue damage caused by such can lead to perforations of the intestinal track, so for the OP of the story @ 2:31 not to have had that happen is extremely lucky.

That last story felt like her BC was being tampered with because why else would he be so happy about her pregnancy? And the way that she was being so sneaky about causing the miscarriage made it feel like she didn't feel safe for some reason... She should leave him if she needs to be moving in the shadows like that rather than just standing up to him and telling him that it's her body and she doesn't want a kid.

Im kinda against abortion, but i also think nobody should give a fuck about what i think and just do what they want, with that out of the way, the last story was terrifing, i cant even imagine being with someone who seemingly has the same lack of interest for children as you just to hit you with a "jk" and you now feel obligated go through what having children means, basically being forced to do something you dont want, but also i think she should have just talked it out, if she did and he uderstood and acepted it, good, maybe they could have talked it out and either one of them could have changed their mind, and if he didnt understand, good too, just end the realtionship, it IS a valid reason to end one, having children is too big of a choice to just continue anyway and ingore the problem, also, the poor children whould have a terrible mother beacuse you cant force yourself to love something you dont want and is not their fault, neither it would be her fault, its just natural

Geeeez... This was an *INTENSE* video! So many emotions going through my mind and body right now after having listened to all of it. Holy shit. Life is weird. People are weird. The world is weird. Everything is just weird! I'm emotionally exhausted, and none of that even remotely had anything to do with me. I can't even begin to imagine what the people who wrote some of those things are feeling... I'm just rooting for them all. Well, except for the woman who blames her boyfriend being intersex for their crappy relationship. It's not because he's intersex, it's because he's a lousy, lazy manchild. Seriously, that dude needs to get a grip! And the woman needs to kick him out of her apartment and break up with his immature ass.

13:34 i think it's illegal for you to share info abt a patiente as a psychologist everything that happens at the session stays in there, sometimes, every document created abt said sesh will be burned in a while (at least that's what i learned from professionals) (you can share worring info with police/legal guardians but that's were the line is cut) so, this post is technically unethical (i believe) kinda got me worried abt her other patients
@SissiTargaryen3 күн бұрын
Unethical? Yes. Nothing like that should be shared on a public space, and there is nothing more public than internet. Illegal? Probably not since none of the personal info, were they live or a physical description of the kid is there. And since you can't locate the boy by the information shared in the post you can't accuse anyone of anything it's a little bit of no body no crime. Also while the post is written in english op may be in any country in the world, and different countries have different laws in that regard. But all that aside, I can understand the need to vent or event to feel lost with was happening, because the boy feels like a killer in progress and it's not the same to be watching a program about it and thinking wow why nobody payed attention and turned him to the authorities in time, than being there and being the one in charge.
@filipe.sm313 күн бұрын
As long as it's anonymous and the patient can't be identified, it's fine. OP probably changed some details while telling the story

I stuck 2 magnets up my nose as a kid..... they slid their way up into the depths of my septum and remained there until I was 25, remembered that they were there when I started getting headaches..... I slid a heavily magnetic quarter up my nose, waited until it clicked to the magnets, and pulled both out..... was so nasty and still a core memory for me 😂

Was weird that the Klnefelter guy's girlfriend was so focused on the klinefelter syndrome. *_"I really want a MAN_* who could also mutually support me in life and want me sexually and grow as a human being with me and start a family one day..." The first part of that thesis is completly unrelated to any actual issues present in their relationship. She's so focused on demasculating an intersex guy rather than any of the other glaring issues with him. Her greatest problem with his no-fucks-given ass is that he isn't a real "MAN" (as she so capitalized to emphasize) Even if she simply wasn't attracted to him, as she has no obligation to, she's just slagging him off in total disregard for who he is.

Now I don't know how the law applies in whatever country op is typing from but I'm fairly certain almost everywhere, you have a right to report crimes as a therapist. Let me look up the law in italy first as I'm italian. So in italy the law says you can only report crimes if the patient agrees, the crime could be legally pursued after a report and they (the medical professional) should limit themselves to giving as little information as possible as to respect the professional secrecy law (that they can in no way shape or form divulge personal and private information of a patient unless they are consenting to it). And last but not least if they feel as though the patient and third party people could be in danger: ie if a patient admits to plotting to or wanting to commint a serious crime. If let's say I confessed to wanting to rob a place or steal anything, a therapist/psychologist would probably do nothing about it as it is not a serious crime you can outright accuse someone of and nobody is immediate threat or danger. Again I don't know the law in the US or other countries but I feel as though there is some law to defend medical professionals from this. Also I believe they can outright refuse to help the boy if he made them feel so uncomfortable and claim they're doing so to protect their own safety.

Two minutes in ad I'm already boiling over... You're parents DO owe you something. This is going to sound super entitled. But know that this is coming from someone who supports his mother and who's dad literally punched him in the face to avoid returning even a fraction of the life he stole from us... They brought you into this world. They then destroyed your childhood, and the downstream consequences of that can be 10x what they start from. I have lifelong, life altering health issues because of my downstream consequences. They also are expecting you to help them, and are actively trying to scam you. What the owe you, can never truly be repaid. But the DO owe you.
