Orbital bases are a much better option . There's a couple of cheap modular stations in the workshop. Modules D or E i think. I'm a cheapskate so use these. Nice vid.

I know the ones you mean! I used to use those too. Reminds me of my early days in Empyrion. :D Cheap defo, but perfectly effective! I do have a space base which i have built but never really used it in a game as i always seem to stay on the move.

I’m at the late game right now, and my main carrier is LF Quazar which is comparable to Helios, and it’s helpful for me, even on single player. It has my battleship, mining ship both CV’s and three SV’s and two HV’s. I’m not 100% sure if this is right, RCS is useful but it’s expensive in CPU. I have placed them in a sv with combat steel and the turning improved. I download, I’m not a builder, so don’t take what I say as gospel.

Ah is that the recent one by Lyfeforse? I may take a look at that one. Try something new!

@@G8MBIT yup, that's the carrier. I got half of the engines on it, and it's got Eclipse, Outer Venture, 4 SV, and 2 HV’s. Along with two modules, it's max speed forward and works as a drop-ship. I love it.

From Vermillion.. was 2 years ago, but I would imagine it's still true: RCS are more viable in RE. Primarily for correcting poor turning in one direction. On average, most CVs in RE behave like they do in most movies/TV shows instead of the vanilla method of having them zoom around faster than SVs.

That's good to know! thank you :) not a complete waste of time then!
