Engine Support/ Stabilizer Tool Review

Whats up Guys hope everyone is doing well, Today we will be putting together and reviewing a engine support tool from Costway. After removing the transmission and seeing how messed up the rear main seal was we decided to take off the oilpan and see if there was any metal in it. So we needed to support the engine as we dropped the subframe to get the oil pan off. Sweet video, thanks! I once did a timing belt job on my car and just a regular floor jack to keep the engine from falling... that was pretty scary tbh. I now need to change the belt again and I for sure won't be stupidly relying on a simple floor jack for the job, so this bar will come in handy.

It's probably the shim to reduce crankshaft endplay.

will it work for a twingo I ? it has a very steep slope for the engine bay shape.

IM not sure but if you have good pickup points it may work

@@ronenfe yeah if the angle of the sides are too steep then you might be better off with a engine hoist that comes in from the front and has its own legs.
