For the amount of time needed to anneal brass, I do the 6-second annealing 6.5 Creedmoor brass setting the speed at 26/27 seconds. Eric Cortina has an extensive set of videos on annealing brass, there is a fear of over-annealing the brass; there is a wide window to over-annealing the brass cartridge. I used my cell phone stopwatch to determine the correct time/seconds. Try to count way off.

I’ve got the EzP 2.0 annealer and I love it. I’ve annealed thousands of 223/556, several hundred 300 blackout and 243 and about 1000 6.5 creed. This unit is very simple but extremely effective and I like that it is small and doesn’t take up much room on my table.

The game changer is the adjustment for different cases. I don't like reaching over the flame to put the next case in. A single file tray going off to the right would be nice, holds about 10 cases and you could load several at a time.

How about replacing the cake pan with a five gallon bucket of water so it stops the annealing process rapidly to not anneal the body of the cases…and decrease your chance of even “accidentally” burning yourself. You can just position the annealer at the end of the workbench. This is what I do using my drill as the annealer. Gonna get the annealez and put it in a bench with a cutout to drop the cases into a bucket of water.

This annealer works great only has it for about 2 weeks. I have a question my brass don’t fit my case gauge properly. There is a bulge in the neck is that because annealing too long or is my crime too much? I had to take apart my bullets and redo them. I think it was my crime. But open to other ideas. Thanks. I have no experience in this first time

Hi, do you recommend annealing after or before resizing/cleaning? Also, should only propane be used?

What temperature are you striving for? Are you trying to gauge what the minimum temperature is? Using tempilaq? I use the salt bath method and have a thermometer that monitors the solution. I’d say underannealing is a waste of time. Not saying you’re doing that!!! Just curious if pre orange flame is your gauge for the useful temperature.

Why go with this one instead of something like an Anealez? Not much of a hopper and the torch isn't really a part of the unit.
