Thank you for all of your videos. I’m chronically ill and have been doing them every single day without fail for almost 3 months now. I can tell that they are making a positive difference in my health. ❤ Question: would you ever consider teaching something like the 10 step Yang style? Maybe mirrored? I cannot find any solid videos for the steps, progressing in that style and I’m having such a hard time learning it! Thanks again for everything you do. You’re helping more people than you even know! ❤

Thanks for your comment! We teach traditional tai chi in our online studio including the 10 step yang style (we call it the 8 Form but its the same thing). To learn more about our online studio and how you can learn the 10 step (8 Form), register for your free “New Member Webinar: Intro to Tai Chi” Saturday via Zoom at 10:30am Eastern Time USA here: 44ll.short.gy/czTptr Register even if you can't make the time and I'll send you the replay :) I explain how you can learn traditional tai chi at the end of the session :)

Whilst I join many different videos, depending on time and what I feel I need to focus on, this is the video I keep returning to, it has everything. I love the music at the end with the prayers 🙏. I'm becoming more interested in the breathing. It doesn't appear to have any regularity? Is it always breathing in first (whatever the movement) and then out. Or is it whether you are moving away or towards your body? Many thanks for such a great video. Sally
@beginwithbreathtaichiАй бұрын
Great question! Typically we exhale when pushing away from the body, inhaling when we are moving towards the body. Gathering and releasing energy. This isn't 100% of the time, breath can be different with Qigong movements.

Was great to get back into it. I've been doing little routines by myself (due to being busier, so I did it for less time) but this was better I must admit, its good for taking a break from incessant studying. I do like incorporating more feet movement even if its just little steps in place (when I am on my own with the practice). I enjoyed the music as well and I am wondering if you know who it was? Slower classical does great for these kinds of exercises I've noticed. Stars of the lid would probably be good and anything by tom eaton, will ackerman and jeff oster (thinking specifically of their "brothers" album) thanks.
