This breathwork for stress and anxiety practice invites you to learn a breath work strategy to help calm and regulate the nervous system. This type of breathwork can be utilized anytime, anywhere, for any type of stress or anxiety. This is a great beginner yoga practice and incorporates concepts of Trauma Informed Yoga as a way to start or deepen your mental health journey in order to feel more calm, regulated, and at ease daily. Yoga for mental health is a wonderful resource to add to your toolbox for self-improvement.

Thank you for reminding me of alternate nostril breathing. I love this breath practice. Have you heard of SOMA Breathwork? I know it is a different practice, though I think you might really enjoy its benefits. I use it the most when in need of calming stress or anxiety.
