I would like to point out that the bay movies take place in An alternate universe because Michael Bay has clearly shown us bumblebee fighting in WW2. The bots arriving in 2007 and Megatron already bing on earth because he was looking for the cube. In Bumblebee and rise of the beast Bee is there in the 80s , and the humans in that time line know nothing about them because bee was there first encounter with them. I don’t understand how hard it is for people to understand that.

The problem is that Bumblebee was conceived and initially shot as a prequel to the first Bay movie, then the reception for The Last Knight happened and they threw in some reshoots to separate them, but also kept some of the prequel elements, meaning it's basically a hybrid of reboot and prequel.

If anything, Bumblebee got here in 1987, along with Optimus Prime, and they’ve tried to seek refuge on Earth until they can get back to Cybertron. Ultimately, all you need to know is that they’re trying to get back to Cybertron. If you can go into this movie just knowing that piece of information, you’ll be able to track it completely. It doesn’t mess up any of the timeline in 2006, 2007. We’re actually going in a direction that allows us to protect that side of the universe, but that’s all you need to know

The scene was set in the past the terracons did not travel to the past. The terracons along with Unicron were stranded in the galaxy that contained the Maximal home world. That is why it took the terracons led by scourge centuries to find the hiding place of the maximals.

Seriously think about that.. they needed her, to help find something ... from their own damn planet. Then during the war scene they kept cutting away so we could watch her pointless character run through a tunnel.... lol Even the main character, he's ultimately pointless and situations were made for him to be relevant, like saving Optimus. What needs to happen for the future of the TF franchise films... take the human element out as a character, it's dumb. What I mean is, still have humans, still work with humans, but, keep them at a distance, jeep them to the side of the story. Nobody has ever watched transformers for the humans, ever. They need to stop being the main characters because they can't ultimately change a damn thing for cybertron.

This movie is a completely separate continuity from the other films. I feel that compared to/contrasted with the films beforehand, as a standalone, it's not the most terrible thing and it comes off as the least offensive one. Fact: G.I. Joe localizing in Japan led to what eventually became Transformers, so to have them connect like this is actually a clever move. People who know the history can really appreciate the effort.

3:46 not only is the WTC antenna misplaced (it was actually on the North Tower, not the South), but both towers seem to be placed way too far from One Liberty Plaza. How is it that easy to mess up one of the most famous structures in the world? I've seen countless movies that mess up something, either the height, width or distance between both towers. The internet is literally filled with pictures of them, it can't be that difficult to search for images in order to recreate them.
