Love your channel. You guys ever think about getting into ECU tuning at all? One of the best ways to get good power after a nice exhaust is dialing in the tune. Your exhaust work looks like it flows well, so I bet your average customer could see a solid 10-12% power gain with a good tune after your exhausts. Especially when you go with high flow cats and get the restrictive stock crap out of there. What made me think of this is your 2014 Accord video. We just had one in our shop, a 2015 Sport that we put a Pre cat delete down pipe, 2.5” resonated mid pipe and HPS cold air intake on for a customer. Car made 174 HP at the wheels after that on stock tune. We hooked up the Hondata and I worked my magic on FlashPro and spun the rollers again to 191 Hp at the wheels and 186 Tq at the wheels. 2.4 Earth Dreams car. (K24w1)

That sounded good, especially in the clips when Durango was still inside building... Though once outside the exhaust did not sound near as loud as I would expect a 5.9 Durango with straight pipe, no muffler & only one cat... Also the clip showing revs inside the cabin of Durango it made it seem like when one was actually driving that Durango down the road (doors closed & all windows up) that the exhaust would not be very loud at all to the driver, or passengers. * I'm not dissing, or being negative, just leaving my input. I appreciate the video, as I recently acquired the low mile 1st gen Durango that my grandfather bought brand new. Only difference is mine is the 5.2L instead of the 5.9L. At times I kind of wish mine was a 5.9L BUT Dodge 5.2L (318c.i.) engines have always had an incredible reputation for their reliability & longevity. It's just unfortunate that Dodge chose to choke the power & torque down so much in all the 5.2L engines that were in the Durango, Dakota & Ram trucks! I'm still trying to decide what I want to do with my exhaust as it still has the factory exhaust setup. I'm leaning toward a side exit exhaust setup but not certain yet.

i did the same thing on my 02 durango 5.9 except i put a 45 degree tip going downwards before it goes over the axles kind of before you have it welded to the existing pipe near the rear axle

Lol that's either a "high flow cat" or hollowed out cat. I got short tube headers with full straight pipe. No cat true straight piped. An that's REALLY close 😂

5.2s won't sound quite the same. As far as I know the heads on the 5.9 have bigger valves and ports. At least that's how it was in the LA engines. Not 100% sure on the magnums.
