@@Eliorile What? The whole world knows about the "beads" thing and very few people know it isn't true, relatively speaking. Even my brother who never played chess in his life, never watched a single game and doesn't even know any professional chess player said to me at the time "Did you see the news? A guy called Hans Niemann got caught cheating in the most embarrassing way I've ever seen in any game or sport ever! It's all over the news." My friends who don't play chess know about it. Almost everybody knows about it and most of these people don't know that it never happened because they've only seen that and didn't follow up on it. If you think that didn't wreck his public image, I don't know what else to say to you. I don't care for Hans attitude either, but "if Hans acted like Hikaru he would be hyper loved"? Really? Hikaru is a smug and malicious person. The thing he loves the most is putting other people down for fun. I would never use him as an example of a likeable person. He's just not. He's a great player and that's the only reason why some fanboys pretend he's ok.

That could be true. But him being publicly humiliated, having his entire career ruined after beating the best player to ever exist, and being shunned from the entire chess community could also explain some of his hyper emotional responses. If the dudes telling the truth I could completely understand his behavior.

I think he's angry because he didn't cheat, but he hasn't accepted that his personality is why people don't want to work with him, more than the allegations. And because of this he's made up conspiracies to explain why people don't want to work with him instead taking a long look in the mirror
