@ally786 I am using a 4mm hook and 8Ply/double knit yarn and yes it is acrylic you can use any hook and yarn you like and just follow the instructions to make it the correct size

Hi, I am sorry that this video is to fast for you, to be honest this is when I started getting serious with my videos so this is a tad fast for beginners, I have tried to slow down alot with my more recent videos, I would recommend that you practice you double crochet stitch and I am sorry if were upset by comments

Oh my gosh, I must have tried starting this about 50 times and I can't get past chaining through the hole because I keep losing count and then when I try joining them at the end, I don't know what hole to put it through ....I give up

Wow you are rude. She perfectly explains where you put your hook, it's just in the stitches. If you've ever crocheted in double crochet you know where the stitch is and where to put it. If you don't know where your stitches are, that's your issue. If her style isn't working for you, find another place to learn how to crochet for free.
