Hi, I have installed a personal version of Xsplit. When I click on "source" then webcam, capture... option I then only have 2 options Webcam and RTSP IP camera. I dont have the digicamcontroller option you talked about yes I have installed digicamcontrol. Please help

what version of digicamcontrol you downloaded and installed if it is V2.0 then uninstall it completely , restart the machine , install the beta version v2.0.69 . Follow all the steps in video as demonstrated .Check if your dslr camera is supported by digicamcontrol here is the link : digicamcontrol.com/cameras. If is is compatible with all functions & you still can't see the camera in Xsplit then let me know.What brand/model number DSLR camera you are using & version of Xsplit & windows ?

when you have a capture card then you don't need digicam control , can you see the sony handcam inside the blackmagic media express application ? have you downloaded the latest drivers for shuttle ? if not then install the media express app , update the drivers , drop down the resolution to 720p 59.9hz and check if you see the live capture .

Digicamcontrol as a source in xsplit shows only in game capture section and the stream is a window with the digicamcontrol interface and menus I want only the view from the camera to be shown. How to fix this? The other thing is I tried everything on the internet but OBS didn't find digicamcontrol as a source at all.

Hi, I'm able to do the same. However, the lag is too much, both the transmission lag as well as fps lag( slow fps and interruptive streaming as well as the audio and video doesn't match). My internet connection is pretty fast (around 75Mbps). Kindly help me figure out. I have kept the settings same as yours.

Sure , if you microphone is connected to the Yamaha mixer & then the mixer is connected via USB to the computer then make sure inside Xsplit the input microphone is selected to Yamaha mixer ? Also monitor all the output via headphones , not speakers .

Nikon d7000 is supported via digicamcontrol for Live view which basically all we need. So if everything is configured as I mention in the video then the camera should be listed in XSplit > Sources > webcam , capture video cards then select digitalcam control virtual webcam. I am doing a Live stream in 15 minutes about 16:50 Hours London UK time today with multiple external microphones and DSLR so join the Live stream & I'll answer all questions there.

use the beta version of digicamcontrol 2.0.69. Make sure compatible canon EOS utility of t5i ( latest drivers) is installed on your computer and set to not auto start upon usb connection. Disable the integrated webcam from control panel. restart your PC. open digicamcontrol and it should auto detect your t5i. Click on live view icon and then follow the steps in video. Let me know how it goes.

If you are using windows then on the right bottom side there is a arrow pointing upward , click on it . There you would see EOS utility , right click on it and check the option '' do not launch EOS utility automatically when the camera is connected.

I would advise you not to buy a Dslr camera in UK because it will shut down the video recording /live stream after approximately 30 minutes , get a decent video camera i.e a 2nd hand Sony Ex1 or Ex3 or PMW 300 , as far it comes to streaming look for a company called magewell , Blackmagic boxes are reasonable priced as well .

it is good , all i was saying that DSLR in UK have a limitation of approximately 30 minutes record & live view output and after that time the camera stops recording or live view stops ( which we use for live stream) there is a work around it if you use ML but that is applicable only on canon high end models. the need of a DI box depends on your audio setup , are there any unbalanced sources in the signal chain ?what is your audio setup like ?
