It's so funny how well LS fits into this podcast, the community needs more constructive flaming if they want to improve. A lot of people aren't willing to admit they make a mistake when the best thing to do is just admit it and learn from it. When you're confronted with someone being brutally honest about it and even pointing out the logical correct approach to the situation it's not really a bad thing. Obviously there's flame that's not really helpful, but I find it really doesn't hurt anyone but the person spouting it off, think Tarzaned when he's hard inting and flaming his teammates nonstop while getting carried.

I like it primarily because it brings the best out of Dom. He dials it back a little because he really respects LS's knowledge, which hits the sweet spot of productive flaming. The reverse is a little true as well; LS was so cautious talking about Ruin, because he knew Dom would scorch him. (I'd love to hear more on what LS sees in Ruin. I see nothing.)

I disagree with considering Yuumi. The Blitzcrank pick and Core’s play alongside Tacticals Ezreal was the only reason they won the game. Against any other comp Ezreal Yuumi is better. But against Sett, Shen, Lux, Blitz is probably the best possible pick both in lane against immobile mages and to counter the Shen ult shield, and to take shields off Hecarim/Sett later.

The "counter stat" talked about in 1:12:00 from oracleselixir is defined as picking a champion after the opponent has already picked his champion in that role. Which is not the definition as counter at all. Like most times people firstpick a champion that can't be countered ( ex. ezreal, cait ) and just farm it out of laning phase. Also another thing to mention, many times the lane is more dictated by the support pick, and in this case smoothie has a 43% "counter" stat meaning he most times picks support first, dooming inevitably his lane ( most champions you pick first nowdays are either yuumi if you're lucky, or thresh or defensive supports like braum and tahm ). Not a CLG fan, just stats in a vacuum doesn't say much actually.

It's the armor items from Sett and Shen, they are against about 80% magic damage in mid to late game and are rushing armor items, frozen heart was useless against the enemy team and the dead mans plate as they said prior is useless because he should be getting Sona speed boost and be in there without the dead mans speed, also that picture doesn't show the order they bought the items, Sett into Syndra built tri-force - dead mans - bami's cinder, so no magic resist for way too long, yes he had merc's but that's not nearly enough. This allowed TL to get way too much free damage because the overall order and items themselves don't actually help. Not to mention with double supports bottom a Spirit Visage should be considered a must item for the bonus healing. They did explain this in the 40-55 minute mark

I feel like Cloud 9 is slowly becoming a "Jack of all trades, master of none" Team. To be honest, the LCS is to weak compared to other regions, their best chance would be to master one type of stile to the utmost perfection they are capable of doing. Last 2 world champions won that way. As it is now, i do not think they will make it out of the group stage, remember china and Eu will have 1 team in each of the groups ( if they beat wildcards).

@@abdulkarimelnaas7595 I understand where you are coming from and i like some of your points, but playing "pretty cleanly" will not get you out of groups and you get the same level of scrims when you try to perfect a game play as when you try to learn new styles, so its mostly about where you put your resources and time in. Now what I mean by perfecting is, you try to find multiple champions on one role that can be played in that style you are trying to master, so that banning out one role will not get you in trouble. Right now i believe C9 is in danger of this in some positions. I would love to see them have 6 champs on each role that work. After that i would like them to scrim their academy teams a couple of times where they tell them what type of comps they should play so they know how to play against counters. And as a last point, i really liked how C9 played at the split start, because that stile works well with this meta we have this year.

No one is allowed to costream LEC. He's talked about it before, it has something to do with broadcasting rights? LEC is streamed in multiple different languages and they all have different rules. I don't know how it works, honestly. He was in negotiations to possibly do it 2021, but with him being pulled from the LPP it seems that chance disappeared as well.

ive always loved the NA casters in the early days of LCS but as time passed by people like monti or papasmity started casting and they were pretty good. When EU switched to LEC ,to me, they started becoming better and before i knew it, they were my favorite casters. NA cast kinda became stale and even when they hired new guys they were okay casters but not really interesting. Honorable mention to Altus and LS ofc.

If anything I think at best they fit the age demographic that seems to be popular with their audience so I guess the cringe stuff is okay as it appeals to the masses.
