@b0sse that's why ls says morello's costs 1400 gold, because the question isn't why to buy any parts of the item, but why upgrade oblivion orb to morellos over sitting on oblivion and buying another item. edit: just got to the exact point in the vid and if he doesn't buy morellos and sits on oblivion he has armor pen and he has full deathcap at that point in the game for example, so it accelerates your more important items.

48:20 what c9 does is VERY good. A suggestion dom, dgon, or LS, is to take a look at the football club Ajax in the netherlands and how they operate. They breed talent from young ages, then sell them to other orgs. FC Barcelona signed 23 year old Frenkie De Jong for 75 million or something, and 20 year old Mathijs De Ligt for 75 million to Juventus, so that 150 million in one year for AJAX from just 2 signings. Even if they dont win, having a youth academy, having them exposed to the scene, and then selling em is SO good for business, and it stumps me why esports doesnt do that, and instead just gets washed up imports Good to hear C9s ahead on this subject matter.

Southhampton in England is a good example in the Premier League, for the anglo-centric people. Most NA fans don't understand the development system of international soccer. None of the major sports have the "academy" system that allow you to "develop and sell" players. Maybe baseball a little, but not football or basketball, or any sport dominated by the NCAA cartel.

It's actually done to a lesser degree in the LPL. They have the LDL, which is basically a minor league for the LPL. One of the best teams in it is a team called YM owned by former player PDD. That team is very well-known for producing all-stars then selling them to LPL teams. Some notable names include: iG's jungle, Ning RNG's support, Ming TES midlane, Knight FPX JG, Tian ...and more.

The issue with that analogy is that footballers have defined peak years, where they're at their physical prime, normally between 25-30, it's not quite as cut and dry with LoL because it's all about mental aptitude and personality (i.e are they willing to try and learn, does the player tilt hard, are they a shotcaller, etc.) It's difficult to look at a player and gauge what their scope is potential-wise, whereas in football it's more tangible, if they're playing well in a decent team and are young it's fairly easy to see they could improve and move up to a bigger team, whereas league doesn't really have an established player peak, so it's hard to say oh yeah this guy's 21 he's going to improve or this guy's nearly 30 so he must be on the decline, realistically there is a peak, but since we're only 10 years into its existence we don't have much comparison to work that out if you get where I'm coming from.

Just so you all know. I have Applied to places for scouting. I am a good player but I have been watching ls and dom for years and have heard of so many players out there that should be good. There is so much more to scouting then just playing the game. I could watch vods for stuff like bronze to challenger skip and watch the masters level games and on. Looking who is excelling in those games and carrying. Might not actually be the streamer. A lot of top scouts have played in sports but there is a lot of scouts that just through watching and understanding pro level play become amazing scouts even though they have never played said sport.

Sports are a lot less complex than league. Sports are practically 100% teamfights but league is a lot more than that. Understanding someones laning is very hard for a person who does not play at a high level. Watching league is also a lot harder as many things distract from the important aspects which can make people draw wrong conclusions.

Could you talk and elaborate about NA Game Schedules? I really dislike NAs time management and imo it has a noticeably impact on the region. E.g. last year NA rushed Summer split like this year and they finished 2 weeks prior to LEC i guess. That makes it so that there is more time between Worlds and last competitve game, which is bad imo. Then now again. 9 Weeks played, last game was on Sunday and literally 5 Days later on Thursday are the first deciding matches. Not to speak of lower bracket games which are just 2 days after that. This goes hand in hand with the playoff format with 8 teams which causes problems in time scheduling but dont you think that NA could take a 2 week break for better prep just like EU does? Also EU last year had a 1 week break in Summer. Now again they had 1 week less with superweek, which is imo a great change. NA doesnt like taking time off and better gameplay i guess, thats the only reasons i could image tbh. Especially in these times where ppl more often speak about Burnout etc, NA should take the EU way imo. Would love to hear Dgon and LS opinion on this : )

Me personally if I’m leaning against Morde I want to rush anti heal immediately, but with Morde healing, trundle healing plus visage,Ashe healing and Pyke in stealth healing I’m not sure what’s so funny that he’s trying to prevent that? Is it just not necessary cuz his damage is just that strong when itemized correctly or what?

Morello is 40% reduced healing, and overall has very weak stats. Against heavy healing it can make sense, and it has synergy with Liandry's if built right, but overall you lose too much damage rushing Morello to be relevant. Being able to catch and then kill Ashe/Pyke has way more value than 40% healing reduction. Also, the extra magic pen is irrelevant into merc treads. Protobelt/Morello makes Kennen's damage very weak, and without Zhonya's he dies far too early in the fight to make a difference.

bring regulations would be the only thing that would make NA have better teams, but nothing would have NA try to be better at the game, full import staff and teams would probably be the only thing... maybe, but i cant see NA honestly being better
