Please keep us informed. I'm a healthy physically active 67 yr old woman that has tried to get on hrt to help stay this way. I've been told I'm "too old" for hrt. I'm currently looking for a Dr. that is up to date on the research. I also maintain an IF lifestyle and love it!

Have you reached out to www.joinmidi.com/ they have been great. For women who are 10+ years into menopasue I just think there is no research. But if you think it is something that can help you, it is worth opening up the conversation. I do believe we are the wave of women who will change things for women coming up behind us.

@@DyAnnParham unfortunately they do not accept Medicare😔 Quote from their site:" Midi is only in-network with PPO plans. Deductibles, coinsurance, and copays may still apply. If your plan is an HMO, Midi is not in-network and your visit will be self-pay. Unfortunately, regulations prevent Midi from treating Medi-Cal, Medicaid, or Medicare patients, even as self-pay."

I am 66 years old. I see a concierge doctor who gives me the Bioidentical hormone pellets. Been on them for about a year. Everything has improved in my lifestyle. Highly recommend them. Not just estrogen , we need testosterone and progesterone too. I have been following Dyann and on IF for 6 years. Dr tells me I’m the healthiest person of any age he has seen in his office.

This is me!!! From ages 16-41 (or 42) was on the oral prescription for estrogen and progesterone… last couple of years, got switched to the patch for estrogen. What a great change and seamless. Game changer! Same day I change the patch I also take Estradiol for added estrogen to prevent frequent utis. Still taking nightly doses of progesterone. No periods. Pretty even keeled :)

Thank you covering this topic, science changes everyday. As menopausal women, it is up to us to keep up with the new research. Thank you for the book recommendations. Lisa Mosconi is brilliant. I have heard her as a guest on many youtube channels. She also has a book on nutrition, "Brain Food". I finally went to see a functional medicine provider who specializes in women's health. I'm 65 and currently on a customized topical cream HRT, it works for me!

Hi Dy Ann, I’m so glad you’re taking HRT your body need it and as we get older, your skin, eyes becomes dryer it protects you against Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis and possible heart attacks. I’m taking bio-identical troche I’m 67 years old. HRT Also it keeps you young… 💜

I'm 55 and have been on the Estradiol patch and oral progesterone for a few years. It's a game changer! I'm looking into testosterone cream and DHEA now. I also fast daily! 💜💜💜

My obgyn is a follower of Galveston and that was a relief! 3 yrs after my LMP, my symptons were worsening. She put me on the estradiol patch, the oral progesterone (increased it 3 mo later to stop the near-constant light spotting I was experiencing- it worked), and now I'm looking at testosterone (gel? Longjack supplements? Still reading up on all my options). Fasting helped me survive the entire process and my doctor approves of that lifestyle, as well.

I went through my menopause and I thought after the end of periods, well that was fairly easy. Well! A few years after that all of a sudden I ended up with depression, then anxiety with panic attacks. I stopped driving, afraid to go out etc. I thought I was going crazy. I put it down to moving to a new province. Seeing a Dr. I would just get a there, there dear I thought. So I endured and luckily it eventually ended. Needing HRT never entered my mind. We need more info and to talk about menopause more.

Hi DyAnn, thank you for this video . I'm 52 and my natural path has me on an oral progesterone and estradiol cream for about couple month. She has just refilled my Px, adding in a very low dose of testosterone. I'm waiting for it to arrive and am very curious if I will feel any different. My labs show I have no testosterone. Low everything. This video has given me hope in not being nervous about my HRT journey. Thank you for sharing. I agree, us woman need more menopause research.

63 year old, never have taken any hormones. I gained 20 pounds over the last few years. 5 Ft 5 in and always weighed between 130 to 140 my whole adult life. Found mvself at 160 lbs! Did omad for April and after a slow start down 7 pounds! When I get to 149 lbs l'm going to IF 20/4. Much easier than I thought it would be. If I eat enough protein l'm not even hungry. It does work! Most important, feeling great with no health issues. « Thanks for the helpful videos!

Ah, yes. Prozac for 10 yrs after.not really a solution.doesnt address most symptoms, esp. sleep I.e. thyroid.

Dyann, I do the Biote Bioidentical hormones. Get both estrogen and testosterone in that pellet and progesterone by pill. Love them. Feel great. Get the pellets around every four months. Thought you might want to look into those pellets.

I know for a fact that Cordyceps sinensis (musheooms) and Maca, a Brassica help testosterone levels. Also, adrenal function plays a part in health of other hormones.what about bio-identical hormones? I had a compounding pharmacy make up Es(tri)ol cream using jojoba oil instead of soy or clover. Transdermal is great.keep us posted on hormones.thx

At 65, im just started taking hrt. I thought because of my mothers breast cancer it wasnt an option. Ive been having urinary problems, anxiety and sleep problems. I saw a nurse practitioner in canada. Taking a progesterone pill, an estradiol cream and vaginal estrogen. No testerone yet. Is there soy in the pills??

There is a thing called Progesterone Intolerance. You can Google that. If you are doing well. You are fine.
