Didn't expect Ian and Andrew to have them take that bite into Dwight's kid. Decent touch there. But overall not digging the radical shift in all the characters. They preached they would never do this again. And here we are lol. Morgan knew exactly what this place was at the end of season 7. How could he say this place was safe after what Madison told him? It took 7 years for Dwight and Sherri to figure out this place isn't good after living with Negan??!! I have more grips, but Ill stick with this for now hahaha. Great reaction.

This was certainly a better episode for me & I agree the character motivations just aren’t lining up for me. I hope they lift the veil about the past a bit more to show us what made them all believe it was safe. Now the radiated area could’ve been part of the threat, but idk yet, we shall see!

Finch has more scenes that haven't been shown yet and he looks fine in them so.... yeah, they're probably going with the cure route heading into the wider TWDU. Daniel is a commander at PADRE due to his military experience, however he is also part of the resistance Adrian was in; Daniel calls Adrian on the walkie when Dwight holds him at gunpoint.

This series is dead man, actually the whole franchise is. This concept of slow and dumb zombies is totally exhausted, that's why korean stuff like Kingdom, Train to Busan or All Of Us Are Dead, and the domestic Black Summer, kicked their arse.

I love the characters & the universe this franchise has built so I’m in it for the long haul! Not everything has to be tik TOK paced to keep the attention of people with the ability to critically analyze character decisions, set designs/locations, writing etc. Z Nation was hilarious & great, so I’m sure black summer will be too once I get around to it. And imo the fast moving zombies is a VERY limited concept because you can’t ground it in realism much at all. Haven’t seen any of those in their entirety but I’m sure they’re good films/shows 👍.

This franchise became a woke feminist character driven franchise after the 2016 movement, and with that change the ratings sunk (see TWD ratings after S7).They fled Rick to install Michonne as the protagonist, killed Carl to install Judith, killed Glenn to install Maggie, killed the military guy to install Rosita, and so forth. They committed one of the worst crimes in the history of tv with Negan; they turned him from one of the best all times villain into a pathetic Maggie's arselicking. And after him, even the villains were all female characters: Alpha, Jadis and Pamela. This show wasn't different at all, it revolved very much around Madison and her daughter, as her son was early and conveniently eliminated. When mom left, daughter took her place, and when mom came back, daughter was put to rest. Victor and Dani are a different type of woke fillers and complement the female leading characters, while nobody cand stand anymore weird Morgan. That's the universe and characters you love?

They killed Carl because they didn’t want to pay the actor an adult salary and Glen died because he died in the comics. Abraham died for shock factor. And the villains Pamela and alpha were from the comics before 2016, and vast majority of the villains were male. Also nick from Ftwd wanted to leave. There is no feminism agenda. You just hate anything involving women.
