Got it! If you've chosen a man, you have to let go of your pride & need to contol and let him choose you. You have to be indifferent and know whether he chooses you or not that your value hasn't changed. In fact it increases each time you take care of yourself.

This is good; I’m letting go of a man I truly consider a good man; now giving him time to choose me without me having to force him; or compete anymore with the women he’s choosing or has chosen before me. My goal is to be the predominant choice so that I can get his attention; and then he can decide if he can dance with me & then pursue; these men move in stages ; segments of attraction.

For once, I hear someone who doesn’t only advocate walking away from a guy. I understand setting limits, boundaries, self care, and valuing yourself, but I don’t think giving up on someone is not always the best case. I like that you’re different and advocate giving someone changes. Thanks.

Thank you. I feel like he is emotionally unavailable lately and playing games. But he still text me to ask me how my day is going every day. His behavior has changed, and at first I was understanding because I know that he was grieving and also working very hard. I’m watching his dog while he’s away on business and I don’t feel appreciated. I don’t like to feel breadcrumbs From any man so I may have to start ignoring him until he makes a decision to actually pick up the phone and call me to have a conversation as opposed to sending a measly text message. It hurts, but I have to respect myself first. I don’t feel comfortable with this nasty behavior and poor communication

Loooved when you said “uh uh I drove far away because I wasn’t going to compromise my values, my boundaries. I knew if this isn’t the man God has for me, I’m ready to walk away” ... - God HAS the right one for you! And He wouldn’t want you compromising yourself for anyone. That’s a test and you must pass it!! Trust in the Lord. He wants the best for you.

Had an AHA moment recently...just like a man has a refractory period after sex (which women don’t criticize because it is natural) it is like many men require an emotional refractory time after intimate contact. Learning to look at it as biological and keeps me from taking it personally. I think men can learn to handle emotional contact for longer times but perhaps it takes conditioning where he can trust a woman not to get cranky. Learning to amuse myself and become a more secure, appealing person in my own rite

I read that somewhere. And I understand. But two weeks? After our last conversation after such closeness over 8 months. He was nasty, frustrated, excuses about work and ranting blaming me because I was worried And yet, it sounds like he ended it. I'm not sure. I decided to ask today because I don't have time. And I did it with such feminine energy. I have explained my boundaries before. I don't do stonewalling or silent treatments. I do communication. (He doesn't deserve warmth).

I like the information on dealing with “urgency” - the primal “simply must act or do something right now to fix this” dread that comes over me. Over the last two years I’ve got better at handling this emotion. I’ve learned waiting and seeing and giving into the mystery of life is a more feminine way to live.

I'll address this more Advanced Work in upcoming videos. Ultimately, you want to observe the urge with a calm curiosity, the part of you that wants to take action and find what it is you are thinking, see if you can just w/o good/bad thinking observe it. The thought always leads to the feeling. That part comes next. Your way out of this is your awakening into Feminine Energy in that you are not impulse driven by thoughts (brain/BOY) instead you can drop into your body, find what you feel, track it to a thought(boy) and perchance lean into a more positive way of thinking. EX: I need to call him right now, or he will forget all about me. Notice the thought is 'I may be forgotten, I need to change this.' You then feel anxious and trying to figure out what to say. FLIP IT: I have not forgotten him, so I know he has not forgotten me. I'm aware if he wanted to connect with me he'd reach out and I feel sad he's not reaching out, yet, I've got to trust he knows what is best for him. I have to now do what is best for me. Hmm, what is a better feeling thought for me? I am alone... yet I am healthy, I ate well today, I called two old friends and connected, I walked in the park. If I keep doing things I love certainly a man will find his way to me instead of me doing the work for him, right??? -- In this example you don't reject the part that is wanting to take action but instead sit with it, curiously, and ultimately going into your own body instead of a place of action.

If you are not in a committed, an exclusive relationship with a man, then why would you spend regular time with him consistently without getting a commitment? You’re putting yourself in a position where you’re investing a lot of time and emotions in to one person without any kind of commitment. That cuts you off from doing the quantum dating that you say we need to do.

AMEN SISTA! You tell that man you do not want to marry HIM either if he completely doesn't value YOU. I walked away with a 3 week old newborn cause I was tired of being abused in multiple forms and at the worst time a man could have treated me like shit: while carrying out baby and this was a guy that "came back for me", told me he wanted a life with me and to grow with me then turned into a Monster during the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy. I left him 2 times before birth and then I left him again, for the last time, right after. WE deserved better. My son deserved a dad that treated his mom good.

You poor dear and love to your little one as well. While no one is mood free or behaves as we desire all the time, both partners want to be on the same team. Relationships require us to face our own issues and somehow not take them out on our partners. There is so much learning we do together as a couple. If he is fighting for you, perhaps you can slowly just date again, let it unfold. No instant relationship. See if slowly you two can get warm toward one another. If he is still pursuing you, if you reply, the game is still on. It's only when you truly go silent does the man realize with space what he has missed. When he comes back around after some silence then let him take you out on a few dates (no sex!) and then ask again, "where do you see us going?" See if maybe then he can step up once he has a taste of losing you. Amanda (2): You're gorge Adrienne! How do you suggest safely "getting a life" during quarantine? I've found it hard to stay busy. Suggestions? 🙂 A: Thank you for the compliments. I am happy you are asking about safety and having a rich life. Organize safe little meetups in the front yard or at a park. Take some online courses you have always been interested in. Try new recipes and invite a friends over to sample. Get a guy to put a big tv in the backyard and run a drop cord and have movie night. I know it's important to do your own thing, but it seems it's more important to communicate what your needs are and be able to quickly walk away if he shows he is not going to respect your needs and boundaries.

Thank you for specifically mentioning ...”you’re divorced, you have 3 kids, you just turned 55, time is slipping away ...” It feels good to be acknowledged. I realize I have a million things going for me, but it has felt many times that there has always been “one thing or another wrong ... with ... me” and that is why I have not been able to attract a forever man. It can get so depressing ... and it can feel like almost constant work to keep my spirits up and to keep the attention on me. But as difficult as the practice(s) may be, what you say is true. The only key to true personal happiness, as well as our best chance at attracting love, is to value ourself and figure out how to make ourself happy. No one else can be expected to care enough to do this for us ... if we’re not even willing to do that for ourselves. Blessings and true happiness to you all. Much love 💕

I love your videos so much, Adrienne. During every one I watch I get chills and tear up from the things you say. It is often when you are sharing your personal stories. I wrote you a few months ago about a guy I was seeing and you told me not to let go or walk away when I really wanted to. So I didn't and I was glad I listened, because he came a little closer. The guy was giving hot and cold signals, and then he did the same thing again after we saw each other once, (which covid has put such a damper on our dating opportunities). He began sliding and rain-checking and then I didn't hear from him for like, two weeks, so this time I let him go and told him I didn't know what to do with his uncertainty, but that I'm not waiting around anymore. I used the "Ï'm just a girl" line and wished him well. It was so hard. The initial feelings for this man and our chemistry are unlike any other. I was really out, though. All the while, I am definitely embracing all of the tools I've learned from you. I was online dating for a while, and on top of that man I'm mainly interested in have met some super sweet guys. Even if they aren't anywhere near the strength of connections with men i've met in person, I think they've been good exercise. I just wanted to thank you again, and I still need every video you post. It's like a muscle, but one that you don't have to work for, it's just about being...Wild. I'm not worried about getting this guy back, or that he'll ever come around again. For a moment I wondered if I was too cold in the last message, but he didn't completely disappear. I know he will come around if he's the right one, and walking away as I've learned really is the sexiest thing a woman can do. Sticking to the newer boundaries I've put in place after learning about feminine energy through you has empowered me more than I can thank you for!
@kylieanderson7634

And I just have to add some more because I'm here and comment rarely on anything. Walking away from this last guy felt like I gained an extra spine. It gets easier to choose the closer you are to your body. The intuition helps rebuild your body and it's like you almost gain another one. When I began to get in touch with that girl inside, it was a daily toss up on which side would come through. Now, the confidence and ability to speak about the dreams the girl inside wants freely flows. The parts of me that want to be a wife and a mom have regained their voice, and she won't step down from it. And it's only been a couple months of these small, daily shifts. I'm going to be thanking you from the alter one day, I already know it.

Hello beautiful Adrienne I just want to say how right you are about getting in touch with our highest self. Connecting to spirit, god, the universe whatever we may want to call it. I find that when I do this, I’m no longer searching for anything external that a person (more specifically a guy) can give me. If he texted me or not etc.. I just become so invested in connecting with that higher part of myself that I feel like I have it all. Everything else is just a plus. So key, and so true! Thank you 💜✨🌈

Hi Adrienne! you have great and comforting advice. Sadly I think I should have listened to this video this weekend instead of now. The guy in dating exclusively started to pull away last week. I was hoping we could hang out on the fourth for bit. On Friday he let me know he was in his way to the mountains camping with friends all weekend. I asked if he thought he would be gone all day the fourth. He replied that he should be gone til Sunday depending on the weather. I only replied “well have a good holiday weekend!” He said he’d get back to me once he get service back at the end of the weekend. Then Saturday, I was bothered. I decided to send him a text telling him my thought process because otherwise I felt like I was going to be upset when he comes back to me after the weekend. I told him: I was hoping to see him on the weekend, that I know it was an expectation of mine and because of that expectation I got triggered and felt left out. I told him that I know I need to communicate more but I tend to pull away instead cause I don’t to want to appear too demanding. he received the text Sunday afternoon on his way back from the mountains I’m guessing. He did not reply yet. This morning I texted him again telling him I was hoping he didn’t take my text as a blame. That this expectation was all mine and I should have asked clearly to hang out instead of saying nothing. I told him that it’s important to me to see each other regularly to keep on getting to know each other. Then I said i hope he has a great weekend and good luck for the busy work week. I feel really bad about these messages I sent. I feel like I showed some deep insecurities... and not having any answers from him feel like I did something wrong. I’m not a big texter he knows that. I’ve come to understand that my main love language is quality time... and I guess that is what I was trying to tell him. What should I do now? Nothing, even if he ends up never contacting me again?
@AdrienneEverheart

Hugs to you, honey! 💕 I am so sorry that you are hurting. Men do require time and space. As hard as it can be, you have to lean back and give them the space to come towards you and plan things. I know that holidays always give this so much more pressure. It’s very important that the two of you discuss the terms and conditions of your relationship. Speak your boundaries, feelings and expectations with warmth. Talk less and listen more. Allow him to lead. The good news is, even if you think you messed up it’s never too late! Just lean back and focus on yourself. Don’t go into explaining mode. Just let it be. If he reaches out, you stay warm. I would suggest working through the ABC’s. bit.ly/ABCGetHimBack

Adrienne Everheart's Love Academy thank you so much for your answer Adrienne! It felt really good to read you. And I am definitely going to look at your guide. Sadly he texted me back later that day and told me he wanted to end things, giving me a whole paragraph of “excuses”. So I simply told him that I thought it was too bad. That I truly enjoyed my time with him, and wished him best of luck for all these things he told me he has to do. That made me realize that I openly say that I’m ready for a relationship, for THE relationship. But somehow this past year I kept on dating and falling for man emotionally unavailable, and pushed away those who wanted that commitment I want... how paradoxical.

I am older and I have never had a man want to move mountains for me. It seems the more I do, the more I get rejected. This last time, I heard, “I don’t feel like I am the right man for you, blah, blah blah!” I have been more supportive than anyone else in his life. We planned this future together that included buying a farm and now I am history. Yes, he is being honorable by returning my investment. I don’t think I know anything about men even though I was in a long marriage and then abandoned. Tried again and again rejection .

I find it impossible to ignore it when someone disregards me and after being so close and having an argument just shifts his energy and pulls away. My anxiety goes through the roof no matter how I try to control it.

I feel like anxiety is our intention to try to control everything so trying to control the anxiety is doing more of the same - more about allowing all of those crazy feelings - even though they’re overwhelming

It’s called being normal. Ignoring it because you a princess that should be chased is just immaturity and bad communication skills

Number one thing. You do nothing..... And doing nothing for a long time is what is hard. Greatest message you teach.

LOVE YOU!!! You have no idea how special you are and how profound your videos are to us ladies. I have a HOT & COLD, confused, not wanting a commitment, keeps stringing me along, just to chase me and once he has me he goes COLD again, but does not want me with anyone else....MAN!!! I just bought a house and do not have the extra money to buy your programs right now, however, I get so much out of your videos.

Adrienne! After 2 months of no contact.. my ex has texted me! with a "hi there". It's so true Adrienne, how you've always said raising our energy is key! I absolutely stopped snooping on him since 2 weeks ago and just focused on me and doing things that make me happy. I went for a facial, got a hair cut at a salon with amazing 5 star service, hung out with my friends and focused on my job, which has been so interesting lately! (I'm a journalist!) . I've reached a point where I genuinely feel so happy and fulfilled on my own. And then BAM. Here he is. I'm not so sure what he wants though. But I texted back with a "hey there", and we'll see how it unfolds from there.
