Pretty sure I already had it too. I think when mass antibody tests come available a lot of people will be saying the same. The majority of people I talk to say they had a cold. Little scratchy throat and headache for a few days. Then they say, "it definitely wasn't Corona." Luckily the new findings point more and more to it actually being Corona, come and gone in a flash.

Hi for your roof on the 308 soften some boot polish in the tin and use a cloth to rub it in, it also makes it waterproof too. It can be used on most black vinyl or plastics better than back to black.

11:36 - In the US, if they are cast (usually cast iron) we call them exhaust manifolds. If they are made out of bent and welded-up tubing (usually steel) we call them headers. Most cars come with manifolds from the factory, and headers are a popular performance upgrade.

For the roof... Try 303 Automotive. It's not glossy... it leaves a really nice factory-look matte finish, and completely restores the black, plus conditions and provides excellent future UV protection. Your top is very oxidized, s. you might want to just start with a good plastic, rubber, and vinyl CLEANER to remove that layer. But 303 should get rid of it and leave it looking new even without an initial cleaning of the oxidized layer.

I drilled a hole in gas impact struts on my US spec QV and pushed bumpers in nearly like euro ones then. same with front the . Looked good. Rubber strip down side someone added it not standard, should be satin black painted. Only thing nicer about US spec QV in my opinion was metal cover around rear silencer, made them look a bit more beefy from back, and all had none metric wheels, I never seen US QV on metric wheels though I could be wrong. They were also lower compression due to catalytic converter, and 100kg plus heavier, and slightly lower geared. Dyno it, you will be shocked at low power output, US spec QV put out 190 to 195 if I remember.

Exactly that mate .... it was a cheap none runner in the US. The plan was to just get it running and useable to start. But then I decided to do a Euro conversion as I’ve done it before. Over time if you are not in a rush and doing it on a tight budget a lot of the parts needed come up online cheap.

I like the original smaller front spoiler way better. For one thing, the larger spoiler looks out of proportion and out of place; it looks like it's supposed to go along with side skirts, which the 308 doesn't have. For another thing, the Magnum, P.I. Ferraris always had the smaller front spoiler, so that's what looks right to me. Speaking of the Magnum, P.I. Ferraris, the original one that they used in the first couple of season was a 1979 and it had the best looking wheel/tire combination IMO: i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/01/17/11/3C32E5FF00000578-4127378-image-a-16_1484651107409.jpg Those appear to be 70-series tires (205/70R14, most likely), which were pretty standard on '60s and '70s performance cars. The newer Ferrari 308s got bigger wheels and lower profile tires, which doesn't look anywhere near as good or iconic... too much wheel, not enough tire (and modern vehicles take the "too much wheel, not enough tire" look to absurd extremes).

I see what you mean about the bodywork, the main thing is finding out how deep the paint is on these cars, the older cars had thicker one stage paint, like I think straight lacquer and can be brought back, but the main thing about paint is its porous, and with a car that's been sitting mold and other things can grow on it, which might explain why it looks like hell, as I had that stuff start to grow on an old car that sat next to a roof drain for about 5 or 6 months after I moved to a new car and your in england so it would just make things worse. like what you should really do is well, find a pro, take it to him and let him see what he makes of it kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXzCmZiAbNR-opo phone from what I can see of it on the truck is 07860336825, guys supposed to have youtube channel but doesnt so that's the best I can do along with this twitter.com/perfectionvalet maybe even contact mission motorsport and see if that is his number and he IS working during this time, he even has a new home base, which should be burried in there somewhere the main thing if you DIY it is that first a deep cleaning, like maybe even a pressure wash, soap and water, then a wetsand like shown here kzbin.info/www/bejne/kH-np5Jtobh4qdk with 1500 gritt sand paper, then a polish with a soft pad, and swirl mark remover, which full disclosure I havent ever done as I'm petrified of doing it on my own car but so many have repeated that I think the process is indeed correct. like maybe try that on a small area under the nose of the car where it would be the worst that's going to get replaced anyways and see what the results are, as you are gonna replace that anyways. also when detailing/washing, no circling, keep it straight left to right marks and start from the top, as theirs far less dirt there and your far less likely to get something caught in there, and if you do, a straight mark is far easier to fix than a circle but thing is after your done, if you keep it black, have him ceramic coat it even if you dont have him detail it, as like I said paint is porous, and black well, yeah, I came to the conclusion that the only way to stay sane with a polished black car would be a ceramic coat and that clarity coat thing tavarish has on his garrish Logic above all else era Lambos from one of those awful fast and furious movies but with that passenger........ DRIVER SIDE, door, yeah that IS the big issue, that's gonna need work and with the damn screw holes, if possible it might be a better idea to find a salvaged door and not deal with it period, as if its gonna be a respray which with the damage and that it might very well be, you might as well see if you could find a better door before you commit to replacing it. with door trim, that might have been an option that came with the car, or something purely for export, as it is on Robin 1 here at 1:45 kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGGnfHyqj7qEiac but its probably NOT a bad idea to have that there even with the euro spec conversion as just as a way to prevent door dings, and its something that I've seen done as far back as 1971 on a 71 Cuda Convertible Grande Sport something or another and unlike on that cuda and other modern cars, it doesnt look ugly, unlike the american spec bumpers and even then the american spec isnt that bad especially considering how bad this turned out ala 3:09 kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5-Tp4ZobtiIfJo as hell if you were a bump parker it might not be a bad idea to keep them quite frankly lol Roof Wise I wonder if a Vinyl dying kit for a corvette C3 interior would work kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZ_EmWqlq7N5mKc although I dont know how perrished that thing is
