Just people who wants to leave in peace and who wants to join whatever coalition they desire, just like any independent country can. His permanent stage director for the past 5 years is Anna Oboinska, a single young Ukrainian mother living in Kiev. She returned from preparing Dimash's upcoming solo concert in Dubai to be in her homeland at the beginning of this war. I haven't seen any indication that she will seek refuge, so it's helpful to see her every day on instagram from Kiev to know she's still safe. The situation is very hard and very sad for in my opinion both the Ukrainians most of all but also the Russian citizens. They are protesting as much as they can but voices are not being heard. How it is our leaders make decisions throwing humanity into harms way is beyond me and it is many leaders, not just a couple. My heard goes out to the Ukrainians but also the Russian people who have expressed horror at the situation as well. Praying for this to end. For 1000 years UKRAINE AND KAZAKHSTAN have been invaded and subjugated from Genghis Kahn to the Soviets, put in barbed wire labor camps, starved, beaten and they never gave up their languages, culture or traditions. Ukranians are dying for their beloved Motherland today, Dimash would die tomorrow for Kazakhstan. That is the pain he feela.

I look at the faces of the people in the audience during this performance and during the rest of this wonderful concert. They were all there enjoying what Dimash brings, not having any idea of what was to come two years later. It makes me cry everytime I focus in on that thought. That so many people's lives can change so dramatically because of one madman is horrific.

Already helping people in Ukraine for several years, many friends there. Can only see them now in the photos I have, have been concerned for 20 years thinking this would happen, it's even more real for me as I have been all over this country and lived in apartments in various cities there; it really hurts and I keep hoping it will stop. DiMASH is so good in this song and also glad you chose this version in Kiev 2020, that makes it very special. Ukraine forever.

И, к сожалению, это не закончится никогда, до тех пор пока существует рыночная система, границы и политики. This is my most favorite reaction to Dimash' song 'War and Peace.' I always come back to this one. It's absolutely astonishing to watch someone cry about what's happening in Kiev and cry along with the guy on my tv. Dimash also has a way of making us feel what he's saying in his music. ❤❤❤

And little did they know. Dimash sings this at every concert. The last three concerts in the Spring, he talked about his feelings about this awful attack. He said a couple of people make these decisions. Kazakhstan has been independent for only 30 years. I think it’s brave and wonderful for you to speak up and talk about your feelings. Dimash does too. @@dougfriendly7676 Russian and Ukrainian people are mostly Slavic people and feel a close kinship; so this is hard for all to see this happening before their eyes. But, all countries should be free from oppression and that is why Ukrainians are taking families out of country and men are coming back to fight. The world needs to do more, stop buying Gas and oil from Russia, US and EU are both guilty of this, only way to stop this Dictator is to stop the money he has to operate on, and oil is the prime way the country has to fund the war machine.
