These videos are great. I saw them in 1977 at Mile High Stadium in a, “Colorado Sun Day.” 80,000 people at Mile High Stadium. They were on the bill with Dickie Betts Band, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Foreigner, Marshall Tucker Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd, three months before the plane went down. I was 20-30 feet from the platform stage. Ann and Nancy up close were amazing. I’ll never forget that day.

I remember when she was condemned for being, "FAT", not long after they were known. Back then, guys cared a bit more about looks than talent. Female rock singer wise, guys were in love with Stevie Nicks/Blondie/assorted others. It only took seeing HEART perform live once, for the guys to become immediate fans, and comment what a great singer Ann was, and how HOT Nancy was! Ann has discussed this a bit in interviews, how the record company pushed Nancy's looks in an exploitive manner. Ann is the GREATEST female rock singer of all time! With talent like that, even if she were fat, who gives a sh*t! Keep rocking good lyrics and real talent everyone! Cheers!

@@rocksteadyrein6516 The sad thing (in the '80s) is that it was actually hard for both of them, because it wasn't like Nancy enjoyed that attention very much. Ann has said that it was hard for her to see her sister being hypersexualized. Clearly she knows it's not Nancy's nature. And when you saw Nancy live, you didn't see a single sign of what you saw in the videos, in terms of the "sensual moves" they made her do in the videos. They were two fish out of water in the 80s. Ann, used to being in front and being the center of the band, was suddenly hidden in the shadows; and Nancy, who is more shy, used to being hidden behind some instrument (guitar or piano), was "pushed in front".

Saw the original Heart live in 1977 do "Rock and Roll". They did it better than Zeppelin! Ann belting out the vocals as usual and Nancy tearing it up on piano, is there anything she can't play? Then Roger and Howard playing the hell out of it on guitars. Add in Mike D's drums with Steve on base. Best live concert I've ever seen!

You know, these uploads the last two days are the greatest. If you have a live Sylvan Song/Dream Of The Archer video with the campfire, I’ve never seen that. 👍🏻 I sure wish that these videos could have been circulated long ago, because what’s upheld as classic rock footage (I mean other 60’s-70’s iconic artists, not referring to Heart) in the world that everyone’s seen is pretty stale. Sorry, I don’t think FMac or Janis ever touched Heart’s talent, but the general public has only seen their footage a zillion times. I’ve lived a long lifetime waiting to see this kind of footage!! Everybody needs to see this stuff!

So true! This should have been aired over and over on TV and circulated across the same way as the videos of Fleetwood Mac performing Dreams. Few minutes ago I just listened to a couple of videos from the 1983 Passion Works tour before this one. And it’s so clear that the Fisher era 70s band is so much tighter and more talented. The 1983 band was pretty sloppy, plodding and the guitars were slow and muted. But Ann was great in both eras.
