Do you think Nissan would circle back to buy Fisker IP from Heights? Heights is a money preditor and will want to sell the IP for money ASAP. Fisker tarnished the Ocean name so the Alaska and Pear are good to go.

It’s hard to zoom out. But let’s do that. What you get is designs for vehicles, and information on how to build the Ocean, and partly the Alaska. The PEAR was just a prototype. How much is that worth? The companies that would be interested in it can’t afford it, and the companies that can afford it don’t need it. And even if someone buys the IP, the shares are still going to end up worthless. It’s in the deal. The company will end. Nothing can change it. Do you have an outcome that you’re looking for?

It’s not good. It’s not bad. It’s definitive. Last week, the cloud problem was completely unsolved. A deal has now been made. So, instead of owners worried about bricks in the driveway, they can worry about the dozens of other problems the cars, the owners, and the FOA face.

Have you ever wondered why American Lease doesn't consider investing in Fisker to support the company's survival? It seems like a potential win-win situation for all parties involved, including the FOA, American Lease, and Fisker.

It would only be a win for American Lease if fisker was a profitable business. 46 million dollars may seem like a lot of money, but nowhere near enough to turn fisker the company around. Investing in fisker inc is a good way to throw away money.

@@Aslash304 I know so you need to get the domain and Bob is your Uncle. Then you can point it to any IP number on the planet... And may be with a Firmware updfate you might be able to change the domain name or add a hostname file in /etc re-directing to what ever host / domain.

If you don’t join the FOA you’ll lose the cloud, so if you 12v dies, your California mode won’t work anymore. If there’s a future problem that can be solved with software, you’ll be without it, unless there’s a recall. I’ll address this further in a future update.

@@Aslash304 I'm a member of FOA, but it seems we're going to have to pay for a monthly service soon. If we don't pay for it we'll lose features that we already paid for? Since I haven't received 2.1 or 2.1, and those are part of a recall...seems this is going against what the DOJ has said - you can't make owners pay for recall service.

@@Aslash304 I think Fisker is already ‘bought and sold’ because of the venture capital interest alone, and the very obvious involvement of American Leasing. The contractual obligation that hasn’t been made public and only mentioned once in the docket filings was ‘escrow arrangement.’ What is difference between chap. 11 reorganization, and chap. 11 liquidation? A change of ownership. That means the extinguishment of the shares and the issuance of new equity. Because the public listing is crucial, so is the U.S. domicile, especially after sanctions have been applied to Chinese EVs. But that also means creditors are made whole. The capital for doing so was raised on the downside in the shorting operation.
