Join me for a 30 minute CARDIO HIIT WORKOUT to get your sweat on! Get ready for a super fun and high intensity routine. We will be jumping, but I'll provide low impact modifications throughout. We'll be moving the the beat of the music which will make it fly by! There are zero floor exercises, no squats or lunges. Intervals will be 45 seconds on and 15 seconds rest. Thank you for your inspiration! Every time you say "you got this" I dig harder! In my 20's I loved myself enough to take care of myself and eat well and exercise. I got into an emotionally abusive relationship and stopped caring for myself. 20 years later I found myself 120 pounds heavier and unhappy with myself. I still have a long way to go, but I'm down 42 pounds and I now love myself enough again to keep going!!

Yes me too I’m 72 but made the workout a bit harder by going up on top toes and wearing .5kg ankle weights and .5kg hand weights so got a good puff going. Love this type of cardio workout with such cool music 🤩 such fun so would love more please Mikala - loving your beautiful outfits ❤💪😊

Absolutely kicked my ass and I am dropping sweat! I was able to do the whole thing without modifying which tells me I have been holding back in my other cardio routines and can push myself more. Would absolutely love more videos like these! I can’t do burpees with good form and I want to feel challenged but able 😊

Thank you for mixing in less intense moves so I can actively catch my breath. It made switching from 20 to 30 minutes workouts much less daunting than I thought

I hurt my shoulder and has been prescribed to stop basically everything I do, because they all include putting weight on my arm... So, thank you very much for providing good cardio workouts without planks, burpees and the like ! It gives me a chance to stay active without impeding my healing ! For those of us who are very active, I think it would be great to have an "extreme" cardio workout wrist free !

I'm on the downhill slide to being 70 and can no longer do the jumping and I am so happy you showed the low impact version. Would love to see more of this kind of video as it is my goal to the whole workout. Thanks for all your hard work.

I adore the cardio HIIT workouts! I'm in the stage of my weight loss journey where I have to get some weight off and stamina up. I love the strength training, but I love to focus on aerobics most days of the week. I'm between the modifications and the moves you do on some and I love how you encourage throughout the workout to make it our own.

I really loved this workout. I personally don’t mind squats and lunges. I just need all standing workouts that show the low impact options. I do a combination of both the high impact and low impact throughout the workout. You’re one of the only people I’ve found who shows what to do for low impact and I really appreciate that!

I haven't done a full 30 minutes of cardio in a while. This was a great video to reunite myself with longer intervals of it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love all of your content and I like that you talk us through it, not like most other fitness instructors on here.

Mikala, I love your passion and love for fitness! You really inspire me. You are the first online fitness instructor that I could stick to so far. You dance to the rhythm, you are fun, you are cute, you really think with the audience's mind and what I love the best is that you have a low-impact option on your videos! So far I could do only low impact since I left out so many years after my child was born and did nothing, especially after covid. But due to my health problems, I needed to do something and that's when I found your channel. Thank God! Keep up with the good work. :)

I jumped in on week 4 and girl I am in love with your training style. I haven’t been this consistent in such a long time. I love the modifications being I have Ehlers Danos and my joints don’t love high impact. I still feel the burn and it is amazing. Thank you for such great training!

I started doing this once a week about 4 months ago. Other days I did your lower intensity video, lifted weights, or ran up stairs. When I first started, I could barely get through even with the modifications and it was painful. Now, I can do the whole thing without modification and the high intensity jumps feel really good and fun! I wish you had more videos like this for variety. I like your other ones, but just one more HIIT type dance would be great!

Thanks for the great workout! I really appreciated the low impact. My knees and ankles are fine, but certain intense cardio causes my chest to constrict and my ears to ring, and if I don't slow down (or stop if I go too long), then I pass out lol. It was nice to have the option to try the high impact, then switch to low impact if I felt too passy-outy.

Guys this routine really helps with the weight loss! I've been doing this workout for almost a month (i think hehe) and I'm already seeing very good results! At the beginning i was at 85.85 kg and now I'm 80.70! I've lost a lot of fat around my belly, arms and legs too. Anddd on top of that i feel so so much better and healthier. I'm not at my ideal weight yet, but consistency is the key! I know some of you would like to know the whole routine i did, so I'm gonna share it with you all. So, i made like a weekly plan combining cardio exercises, abs, legs and arms (whole body) . When i started i used to do April han's standing hit or regular cardio routines and also her arm and legs ones wich combine some pilates here and there. Once i felt stronger i started to do more intense cardio, so if you're at rhe beginning of your weight loss journey i really recommend doing some of April's workouts. My rutine right now is something like this, on mondays, Wednesdays and fridays i would do fitbymik 15 min cardio hit and her 20 min intense cardio party hit, emi wong's intense ab workouts (any video is fine, just look for the one that you feel more comfortable with) and then i do one of either chloe thing, blogilates or shirly kim arm routine. And on Tuesdays and Thursdays i would do this video, an abs and arms workout and a leg one too. For the leg workout i recommend you emi wong's routines and April han's ones, those have helped me a lot, but if you can do whichever yo want. Aandd, as for diet i don't follow like an specific one, i just eat as little junk food as possible, no excessive sugar, no soda, ive been making my meals portions a bit smaller ( bc i used to eat like two bowls of rice lol) and for dinner i eat something very light (like a bowl of fruit, yogurt, granola, you name it) . Soo, that's it. I hope this is somewhat helpful to you and i really hope ypu see good results in a healthy period of time, and remember consistency is the key, don't rush it, you'll se result eventually! XOXO

Such a great workout, I loved it so much. A little PSA for everyone, this absolutely killed off my calves for a few days afterwards - and I run for miles 3 times a week 😂 so just a warning if you have work the next day where you walk a lot or need to stand all day 😂👍🏻
