Ive got 2 sets of XXR 527's (16x8.25 Zero offset) , one in matte black and the other painted House Of Kolor Kandy Purple for my Static Turbo EG Civic sedan and LOVE them. Dont understand the hate this brand gets, Never had a problem with them and they look SICK with a heap of offset

I run XXR 550 "Roulette" in 17x8.25 +19 with 225/45/17 all around on my 2000 JDM Corolla (without spacers) and yes, it fits. For proper alignment I run 1992 Camry's tie rods ... if not you can't align your Corolla period. If you want proof go check my Wheelwell on the same name (Rahvens). Great wheels for the price !

so.... question... the whole point of forged wheels is that because the grain structure is aligned for strength and thus allows you to use less metal. So lighter and stronger. Are XXR wheels both of these properties? there is so little info on weight of wheels nowadays. I'm curious to see how XXR wheels would stand up to the same testing that Enkei wheels get. If they can pass all the same tests, I guess I will be buying some XXR for the WRX

XXR 530 18x9.75 +20 rocked on my 350z and will eventually be transfered over to my 300zx z32 soon and had them for 3 years and ran as a daily and ran them on the Tail of the Dragon hard with no issues.

I bought my first set of wheels in 2000 I’ve had everything from forged wheels to 3 piece wheels and everything in between . I don’t buy shit just because it’s name brand or because it cost 4000 dollars . I’ve been there done that and it was the dumbest thing I’ve ever done . What a waste of money . The reason I say that is because I never keep the same wheel for more than 1 year I actually have a set for winter use and a set for summer . So now I just buy what ever I think looks good on my whip . So if xxr sells a set that I think is dope you better believe I’ll buy a set and that doesn’t mean I’m a noob son .

Everything is a personal opinion when purchasing wheels and reviewing them, Someone could say they brake easy and crack but they also could be driving like a crazy person and destroying those wheels or possibly they live somewhere, Where driving is like driving in a giant construction zone and the roads chew up those wheels!

bootleg Todd Howard I cant speak for the 521 I have 527D but anyways. The way I feel towards the hate of wheels. If you are worried about durability. It should t be as big an issue. If you hit a pot hole. Don’t be made when your wheel breaks. Just because your wheels survived that one pot hole doesn’t mean it’s integrity isn’t damaged any from it. Any wheel can break so just try your best to avoid pot holes and you should be good.
